Regional Fertility Program

Please learn from our experience at this clinic and go somewhere else. We did not realize we had a choice when it came to fertility treatments, and you should exercise your choice and go elsewhere. This clinic is extremely difficult to communicate with and does not spend time answering questions nor informing you. We have felt like an inconvenience. Go to Edmonton or look outside of the province. You deserve better and you have a choice.

My last visits are terrible. Receptionists are rude, they ask my kid to leave him outside the clinic which btw very quiet and just sitting still. After that when I went for ultrasound I was told by the doctor to comeback so he can measure again the next day and i asked if its necessary he said if money is the problem then dont comeback. I was humilliated. After that i never came back for another treatment which is gonna be my fourth which we think is too much already.

Absolutely ridiculous. Cannot reach the clinic myself, and when they finally called me the required both partners to have a referral to book an appointment. I asked if we could go ahead and make an appointment as we will be moving back to Calgary and by the time we have our appt I will make sure my husband’s referral is sent. They refused. After already waiting so long to get in they make the process even more difficult. I have asked to be referred elsewhere

They called us to book an appointment where they called my wife at her job time. She spoke with them and found hard to understand their system. I tried to call them but got an option of voicemail . They returned the call next day and I also tried to understand their system. I requested to send me the email regarding their policies, fees structure and deals. They denied abs told me to go through website. I visited their website and search all options. The information was not enough as their menu needs to be more informative. We requested them to hold a date of 27th or 28th June for a long weekend to book it with them. We requested an application at work for the same got the approval and I called this week to book it and I spoke to the lady and she said no one requested to hold the date, as we are liers. She messed up our appointment. She is saying that dates are available after 7th July now. I found her very rude. She don’t listen to the client very well. She always tried to make her own points rather than listening to customer query. There is no email address where we can reach to the management too. It’s one of the horrible experiences. They need people who really aware of customer service. If they running short of people then close the clinic or hire more people to take every single call of people rather than calling again next day. God save this clinic. Thanks .

DO NOT trust the Calgary Regional Fertility Center or even wast a single minute let alone one precious cycle trusting the doctors that operate it.My wife has had many miscarriages, many. Both legit passing of fetal material as well as many frequent early chemical reactions.We decided to give IUI at a clinic an opportunity as it seemed reasonably priced.Pay for testing and certain meds. But here’s the thing. They will prescribe you a medication like progesterone without running a single test on you and then when you get pregnant all they do is whisk you back to your original referring doctor.My wife is well beyond classifications for referral to high risk obstetrics. Would be our first child be delivered at age 40 if we are lucky and there have been countless miscarriages.The thing everyone needs to know this clinic is PRIVATE and not AHS owned hence why everything is so over priced. Seriously $18,000 for a single round of IVF where as clinics in Canada and the US can do 3 rounds for such prices.Like big wow we got pregnant again thanks to them but zero and I mean zero follow of any patients specifically if you have any problems.

I was nervous reading the reviews.. but we went and had a great first experience. Not once did we feel pressured into anything and we didn’t feel rushed. We were able to go over all the options thoroughly. We got into the room right away and Dr. Raguz came in right on time for our appointment. All the front desk staff seem friendly too and our nurse was informative. So far a great experience.

The journey through infertility is difficult, but most of the staff, nurses and doctors at this clinic have been fantastic! Like others, the negative reviews do not align with my experience at all, and I'm still on the IVF journey.In fact, my partner and I have been treated kindly and professionally. Over-the-phone or in-person, the staff have been so personable! I'm happy to confirm that our appointments have always been helpful and supportive, my questions have always been answered, and the paperwork/consent forms/instructions for how or when to make payments, use injections and medications have been very clear. Though procedures can be uncomfortable or even painful sometimes, I was given such great attention and care, especially from the IVF nurses, Dr. Gotz and Dr. Patterson. I would certainly recommend this clinic to family and friends in the future.

Cash grab & rude staff. They don't hold back on THEIR perspective in the phone call notes. I seen the notes on the screen and it made me look less than flattering, also, they didn't disclose issues which may prevent success until they've received the pay cheque. Insensitive and uncaring about your infertility journey, we decided not to go further with treatments. Years later now, childless and too old. Unfortunate, we hadn't been reccomended to a different clinic.

My partner called to see if his referral was received and was told no and treated poorly. Then he had his Dr's office call and they were told to tell him that they have his referral and to stop calling and that they will call him in 8 weeks even though they have it. Very unprofessional staff dealing with appointments. Not a good look, do better or hire better staff

My husband and I both felt like we didn't matter. Our doctor, Dr. Paterson was nice but I guess I did ask enough questions. My final straw was having to basically beg for an ultrasound (which is paid out of pocket by me) to find out the fertility drug dosage was lower then what Dr. Wong would have had me on. This resulted time and hundreds of dollars wasted.The admin staff, were hard to deal with. Just zero support across the board. My husband had to help me talk to these employees because almost every call ended with me in tears.We have now been referred to another Clinic. Already we have been given more options and support. If you are currently looking for fertility options there are more in Calgary then just this clinic get second opinions don't waste time and money if you don't feel this clinic is the right fit.
