Unassuming cafe and pastry shop yeilded excellent quality pastries. An establishment of the neighborhood! Arriving at 8:30am on a Thursday the croissants were just being put out on display and over te next 20 minutesthe cabinets filled with quite a variety of sweet and savory items. There were lots of tables available and the service was very good.

I just found out my brothers wife worked here while on a student visa. They held back her pay until she had to leave the country so they would not have to pay her. Absolutely disgusting. My mom went to the labour board to get them to pay. Be aware of the companies you support.

The pastries from this patisserie are delicious, let me say that upfront. I have been there several times with my children and both the owner and lady who works behind the counter never have a kind smile or word. My children (one baby, one toddler) and I are well-behaved and we greeted them both with kindness and they couldn’t have cared less. They were more concerned about protecting the tip dish from my children (who were just trying to tap my credit card) and telling them to keep away from the glass. For such a “neighbourhood establishment” - the customer service and neighbourly vibe is sorely lacking. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

Went and tried Sébastien this morning hoping for a lot of choice in bread and pastries. When we got there only a few things available. No baguettes till 11 am- downer!Tried the almond croissants and French doughnuts. The croissants was okay and French doughnuts were good. Not having many pastries available especially a plain croissant, is why I rated my visit with 2 stars.

Sweet neighbourhood cafe with good selection of quiche, croissants, sweet pastries and specialty teas. Although Pasteries selection may not be as wide as they use to be (per comments) but is enough to warrant any palette. Wasn't able to try sandwiches as freshly baked bread available only after 11am. (I visited at 10am)

This is one of my favorite spots in this neighborhood. The best French desserts around. It is also a great for brunch on Sunday. They have nice quiches and sandwiches all in French style. You can see the French chef working in the kitchen. Coffee tastes like heaven here, and I am not religious. It is so popular around this area so the space is often packed.

Great coffee but the choice of pastries are limited. Not sure because after the two years of pandemic effects them. Hopefully I will see them busy again!
