Used Kollaard for the design of a steel beam and sistering of floor joist in order to remove a structural stud wall in my 2 storey house. Their design was efficient, they were very responsive to site changes and questions from the building inspector, and their fees were very reasonable. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any structural consultations.

Called and left a message, took a week to call back. All for them to tell me they weren't interested, surprising considering the only information they had was we needed a engineer to make recommendations on a residence structure. Didn't ask questions, just called back saying they weren't intrested. Waste of time!

I am actually very surprised by the negative reviews. I just got Kollaard to do a frost protection detail. Chris Cogliati always got back to me right away, the price was good, and the drawings were done on schedule. Furthermore they were able to answer my questions regarding the plan when the drawing was done and paid for and were even able to make a quick addendum to the plan the very next day by looking for additional time resources within the company.
