Lotus Garden Restaurant

I eat here periodically when visiting from Halifax and this place is amazing. The food is always fresh tasting and equal to or better than anywhere I would go in Halifax. I will always make stopping in a priority when I'm in the area. Keep up the good work Lotus Garden!!!!

Used to be amazing for their buffet. Since covid food orders are quick and take about 15 minutes from order time. I've had issues with calling them as frequently their phone is off. When ordering anything with sauce need to make sure to say sauce on the side or your food might be soggy by the time it gets home.

Yummy food with lots of options. Takeout portions are HUGE. Egg rolls are perfectly done. Wonton soup is tasty and warm. Noodles and rice are great. Prices seem high until you look at the amount of food you are served.

Been eating here forever, delicious food. However customer service sucks. The phone line never picks up, I called 50 times and no answer. Ridiculous.

Looks a little shabby from the outside but the food seems clean and decent. Staff are very friendly and the buffet is nice

Chinese is definitely one of my go to foods!! And Lotus Garden NEVER disappoints. Always fast, fresh and delicious!

My family went for mothers day! Service was great! Food was excellent. Some had buffet - they loved it. Some order from menu huge portions and taste was wonderful. Going back for fathers day. Worth the 2 hour round trip!

Have tried to eat there several times and only twice got uncooked takeout. I do know a few people who like them. They do eat there at lease once every two weeks. Just try and stay away from takeout. When they do care about their food it is good. They buffet seems to be okay.

The staff was amazing. The building and facilities were VERY clean.The fact that they didn't take anything except cash was a bit negative, but I had a bit of cash on me so no biggie.The food was reasonably priced ($11.95 + taxes for rice, chow mein, spare ribs, & chicken balls).BUT the food was VERY disappointing. The rice was just ok, and not seasoned well. The chow mein was more celery and chicken pieces, and not seasoned very well at all. The sweet and sour meatballs tasted great but it was mainly a tiny piece of chicken surrounded in a ball of batter. And the ribs were just tough, and tasted freezer burnt.This is only my 2nd time eating at this restaurant. My first encounter was so good that I intentionally went back this time. After this visit I will probably not be returning.

I have to say that this restaurant has good service and it was fast. Also the staff were very friendly. I normally go to New Century Chinese Restaurant on Main Street, but they are closed because all their staff take vacation all at once. I ordered take out, which was the Chicken Lo Mein at Lotus Garden, and I was very disappointed. I paid over $17 which is not the bad part, and the portion indeed was really good for the price I paid. But the whole dish was so bland it was basically eating cardboard. This is exactly why I stopped eating here and go to New Century Restaurant. I like to taste my food, which I think is the most important thing. The chicken was disgusting! It was very slimy and it was mostly fat rather than meat. I also found a chicken bone in my dish. The veggies were good, but I like my Noodles more dry than that. Too wet for my liking.
