I had this company come and winterize my spa and open it up again. Only when they opened it up again it consisted of them filling up the tub and telling me my pump was broken and would need a replacement. They said they took pictures of the part and would give me a quote for replacement. This never happened and I took my business elsewhere. Turns out the pump wasn’t broken at all but just needed some quick manipulation by somebody who a) knows if a pump is not actually broken and b) can fix it in 5 minutes flat with a screwdriver. The lack of knowledge and expertise is pretty astounding.

Absolutely amazing service. Great and knowledgeable staff. Helena is fantastic and always helps us keep our pool perfect by testing and then telling us the exact amount of needed chemicals to maintain perfect water quality in our pool. The prices there are great. We wouldn't shop anywhere else. Highly recommend this place. We look forward to going there every Sunday and testing the water and buying whatever we need!

We shut down our spa every fall, and I thought I'd give this local company a try since they were closer, and slightly less expensive than the company which sold us the spa, which I had been using for many years. I knew immediately when the 2 individuals arrived that I had made a mistake. They were poorly groomed, used inappropriate language among themselves when I was around and were generally unprofessional. I could have overlooked that if they had done the job well. It cost me over $300 this spring to have the hot tub repaired. They had forced the cover back on improperly, cracking some of the pipes, which had to be removed and replaced. They also left all the hoses disconnected after they put in the antifreeze. My regular company's technician said that some companies will do this to force you to call them back for re-opening, which of course generates more revenue. Well, this strategy backfired - I called someone who could do the job right. Maybe Tropicana is good for pools, but I wouldn't take the chance. Certainly go elsewhere for spas. I called Tropicana to let them know the problem. The lady was very apologetic but there was no offer of any compensation. Regardless, I would not have had them out to do the repairs. I have never posted a negative review of any establishment, but I felt this one was necessary.

We had a pool put in 2018, We were never happy with their work. While working on our pool, they damaged our fence in a couple of places and drove over our firepit and broke our bricks, they never compensated us for those things. The brick work around the pool was terrible and we had to get another company to look at them and fix them. Trying to get a call back from them or get them to come back for anything was always a no show. After they get paid, they don't want to bother with you anymore. If you're thinking of getting a pool, please read the reviews before calling them. I wouldn't recommend them.

The knowledge about pools and spa's is quite Amazing .The ladies in the office are always ready and willing to help .The owner is pretty kick A** also .The team they have are friendly and a great group to be with !

I’ve just moved to the area. The first time I went to get spa water tested their printer wasn’t working and they said they’d email the results to me. They never did.The next time I went was ok.I went today (Sat. Dec.31) after calling ahead and getting their voice message that said their winter hours were open on Saturday but they were closed when I got there.It’s a half hour drive for me each way. I need to find another place to get spa water tested. Used to live in Stittsville and SaniSol on Iber was amazing. Maybe I have to make the 45 minute drive there.

We first approached Tropicana at the end of spring, as we didn't plan to put a pool in this year. We reached out to a few companies, but either didn't receive an answer or were given a vague description. Tropicana was amazing - Helena immediately responded with detailed estimates, answering the dozens of questions I kept firing off as someone new to the idea of a pool.The responses, depth of answers, and high level of service made us instant customers, and we have continued to be impressed with their service.From the site survey to the install, they took care with every level of detail and provided timely communication, and continued to answer every question I fired at them.We've enjoyed our pool for the past month, and been impressed by the support that they provided even after the job was done. We won't hesitate to keep using their services for the pool, and trust their advice - Helena, Amber, and Alex are a great team, always friendly and looking out for the best for their customers!

I would never recommend Tropicana Pools to anyone. We had an above ground pool installed and had so many issues with it. Some issues were minor where some were hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Anytime we would approach Tropicana Pools with an issue they would refuse to honor any warranty we had stating we didn't follow the instructions that were given which is not the case whatsoever. When we tried to contact them to discuss the warranty issues further our calls went unanswered.

We reached out to purchase a new pool filter via phone and email; their manager Amber was great to follow-up in between my busy schedule and help us get our filter delivered right to our door.

My parents were to have a pool installed this summer. Nothing that this company has done has been respectful or correct. Within two weeks the frame lifted off the ground and the pool liner split due to it being put together incorrectly. The worst part about all this has been the company's complete disrespect toward my parents and their lack of communication. They were supposed to come and take apart the pool and never showed up (which has been a recurring theme throughout this process). I am appalled that a business with this quality of workmanship and customer service is even in business at this point. It has been appalling to say the least. Would not recommend this company to install a baby pool. I'd give zero stars if possible.
