While in the Tamworth area to visit a studio, we were fortunate to choose Devon Cafe to have lunch. What a treat. Starting with the coffee (I don't usually drink caffeine past noon) that was so delicious and smooth I had three cups. I ordered the special entree which was lasagna and Caesar salad. The Caesar was fresh, crisp and perfectly dressed. The lasagna was tender, cheesey and delicious. I wish I'd had room for dessert. Maybe next time, and there will be a next time. I live over one hour from this restaurant, but will make it a destination when I get the chance. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. The washrooms were clean. The proprietors were friendly and engaging without being intrusive, even though my sister and I were the only people lucky enough to be enjoying lunch at Devon Cafe at the time we visited. I highly recommend this spot and hope to try one of their special event meals some time. As a bonus, there's a quirky shop to browse with everything from Birkenstocks and clothes to home and garden decor, etc, etc, etc

I had the BLT and the Cream of Cauliflower soup - so tasty! I could smell the bacon cooking! Cozy atmosphere inside, great service, very friendly! We'll stop here again on our way through!

It was very enjoyable to have breakfast in this local cafe. The portion and price is suitable for real people consumption, instead of obese size like many diners. The patio is well shaded, clean, having a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention the food is well prepared and tasty, staff are friendly.

Friendly Place. Food is great. My wife even got eggs benedict, and asked just for one egg, which they accomodated. Nice hot coffee. Quaint little patio on the side of the building.

While the owner is not very friendly, her food is excellent. The waiter was a very shy man but thorough in his job. Super accommodating. Would have liked toast ar a bun with my omelet.

The food is great! Plus the best when your done your meal go and browse in the gift shop and discover some very unique country gifts. You'll not be disappointed. Or stop by for some delicious ice cream. A little hidden gem!

Breakfast was pretty good although the owner, at least I think she was the owner, was yelling at people and made the overall experience unpleasant. Especially during breakfast! I mean, come on!

Excellent breakfast and great prices. Real home fries and the baked goods looked amazing! The staff was very friendly and the gift store has really beautiful and unique pieces.
