The burgers were below our expectations. We tried the mushrooms with Swiss cheese signature burger, the meat was really dry, taste was just okay, not great. The mushrooms were good. South St. offers many toppings, that’s a plus.Overall it’s not good value for the prices they charge.

The burgers weren't as tasty as I expected. I had tried South Street Burger at Vaughan Mills Malls, and the burgers and portions were customer satisfaction 100%. Burgers were juicy and tasty at this location. But sorry to say that the food at South Street Don Mills Shopping Center was not mouth-watering. Condiments were not available. The girl gave me 3 packages of ketchup for 3 people and 1 teaspoon of Cajun spacy. To me, this is ridiculous. Condiments should be on display for customers' convenience. We spent $80 dollars on food, but we thought it was not worthy. I don't recommend the food at this location. We won't be coming back. We will have no choice that to drive 45 minutes to Vaughan in order to eat tasty burgers.

The staff here are always willing to help people with allergies, intolerances, etc.. They always provide amazing service to me and the food is cooked and prepared right!

Great ambience for social meet ups. Food isn't great but just about does the job. Priced reasonably for the location they are in. Staff were very courteous and polite. There is a gratuity charge of 18% when the party size is greater than 8 which needs to be watched out for. Parking is terrible as the public parking is located a bit away from the restaurant. In a stormy weather or winter, it's a big deal to park and walk all the way to the restaurant. But for summers, it would be an amazing place as you will enjoy the walk around the plaza. Overall a good experience

I was driving around Don Mills mall and wanted to have something to drink and discovered the South St Burger resturaunt. It has a clean retro shop exterior and the sign's made me crave trying one of their milkshakes. So I went inside and wasn't disappointed. I will come back and eat a burger at their small patio outside the next time I am in the neighborhood.If you like my reviews, photos or videos head south to the thumbs up button

We visited this location to take advantage of the birthday club offer for my sons. So we had 4 burgers in this order with only one combo deal. Such a delight to get quality food made properly by very decent staff. I've been to much larger franchises in the last year with similar food offerings and none can even come close to competing with this place for quality service and food. These burgers are not cheap but at least you get top quality that is not common at a fast food place.I happened to take up a conversation with the owner who clearly was very passionate about his store. This is a very hard working man who is really proud of making his customers happy. After we gobbled down our burgers I told him that these burgers were better than the famous Licks burgers of the past. He grinned from ear to ear. He took the compliment but deferred to his staff as being the ones who delivered the quality service and food.This guy is a tremendous role model for any young person and in fact for all of us. This is very hard to find these days but I am glad these role models still exist.Though we did not get combo deals I do hope SSB does keep the combo deals they introduced in February since that really makes this place a great deal.Will certainly go back.

Burger was not the same as any other South street burger locations. Bun was old and burger was super small. They put very little topping as if they were counting them. Condiments were not available at all and they put a note because of covid. All the time we have to ask for Condiments and they were asking is how many? If I spend 85 dollars for a meal I deserve a good service. Fries were nice at the top but when I reached at the bottom I found lots of old pieces. Atmosphere was loud and full of teens and owners never says anything to them. Don't waste your money at this location. We went to vaughn mills and burger was so huge with lots if topping and Condiments were available for everyone. Never go to this location again. They are taking short cuts. I wonder if Jay Gould find out he would not be a happy man. WORST SERVICE AND FOOD AT THIS LOCATION.
