Two weeks ago we had to put our beautiful fur baby Hope to sleep. Your staff were so kind and compassionate! You were so gentle with her. Then today we received a sympathy card from you. Inside the card was a little paw print of our girl with her name under it and a little heart. It broke my heart but with all our babies we have always said that losing them is the hardest thing about having them. And we always said they left us with a paw print on our heart. Amazing with cats and dogs, rabbits not so much. I had to book my rabbit in due to my normal vet being booked. He had a lump on his face, they didn't take any tissue sample, didn't take any x-rays, and didn't even look in his mouth. They gave us an antibiotic perscripton and didn't book a follow up. I'm pretty disappointed as I feel like if it was a cat or dog I brought in it would of been taken a bit more seriously.

I can't say enough nice things about Central Nova Animal Hospital. The front desk staff are lovely. The standard of veterinary care is always excellent. Every Veterinarian and vet tech that have looked after my dogs have been knowledgeable and kind, providing a low stress environment and gentle handling of my pets.

Central Nova Animal Hospital
I changed vets due to my former one loosing veterinarians. This created havoc with trying to get timely appointments. I’m so glad I chose Central Nova, it is well worth the drive from Pictou County because the appointment efficiency is amazing, staff is friendly and helpful and the building is clean and presentable. You guys ROCK and my animals and I appreciate all you do. Keep up the good work.

Dr. Zwicker helped my pet who' health went from normal to worst overnight! she squeezed us in at the drop of a hat! my lovie had a bad respiratory infection and was barely breathing when we showed up. It was so sudden! They treated both as a precautionary and she was prescribed antibiotics and pain management medicine. within 36 hours the wheezing has significantly decreased and my fur baby is eating again!!! i am so grateful! thank you DR. Zwicker and Central Nova Animal Hospital!

In spite of how busy this office is they have always fit us in when we needed to get in to see them. They have shown my animals compassion and care and shown us respect as well.
