Quite high-end for the price with a nice rooftop terrace and some hot (warm) tubs. Rooftop bar and good views. Each bed even in the large bunk rooms is its own spacious pod with a privacy curtain and storage space. Highly recommend. Note parking is $23 per night, but they have their own garage.

One of the cleanest hostels I've been to in North America! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful in answering any questions you have (shout-out to the lady that looked like Gal Gadot!). The location is 5 minutes away from the metro. There are a few homeless people around the area but I haven't encountered any issues while I was there for the week.A lot of features (rooftop bar, jacuzzi, basement bar) and activities they host such as walking tour/pub crawls.

Cute hotel and very classy for a hotel/hostel mix. A lot of services available. No hair dryer in suite, have to borrow from the front in exchange for ID.Floors are all wonky due to buildings age, disorienting but fun.Overall I would definitely stay here again. Right off of Saint Catherine Street is a good place to be to experience Montreal culture.

Very nice! Perfect location, 24 hour front desk, great energy, very clean. quality modern facilities with curtain privacy for bed. Some tweaks to make it better: my 10 bed room had one toilet in the same room as shower and sink. There are no toilets in hall except 1st floor. I would put two toilets and two sinks and showers down hall. If one person takes a long shower there are no available toilets for the 9 other people. Should offer male only dorms. Not just female only dorms. The Bed configurations are great with space for hanging things and locking a lot of luggage. The sheet metal construction makes it hard to be quiet because it tings very easily. Would be nice if one of the hottubs would be shaded. Or open later at night or 24 hours when the hot sun is not out. Really this is an amazing facility, people and location. Im rather old and haven’t stayed in hostel for 30 years but I was very comfortable at this hostel.

Seeing raving reviews about this place might have set my expectations a bit too high. I got redirected to the wrong building when I checked in. I had to hand over a piece of ID to borrow an umbrella; not sure why can't I pay a simple deposit, as if I'm borrowing a historical one of a kind museum artifact.. the umbrella was a shy step away from getting broken anyway. The location is sketchy, especially at night. It's not uncommon to run across homeless people in the alleyway. In fact, first day I was there, I was approached by a panhandler. The pillow I got seemed to have spot of dried blood. I stayed in a 6 mixed dorm. It wasn't too bad. It's good there's a bathroom for each dorm, besides the outside bathroom for the corridor. It's an okay place to crash in for the night, but if this is what's considered a high bar, then I don't want to see what other motels look like. I haven't really explored the place besides that. Didn't try their tour, their terrace, their activities, nor their cafe. To end it in a positive note, they do provide free of charge luggage if you arrive too early or have to check out but not ready to leave yet.

I stayed in the twin private. The room was very clean and well air conditioned, although the mattresses were super stiff. The bathroom was spacious and clean. However, it was $280 for the night once all the fees were added on. You can stay at a really nice hotel for that much. I wouldn't recommend. But maybe if you're using the dorms it a better deal. I was charged double the original price I was quoted for late check-out and no one at the desk could refund me. The rooftop patio is very cool!

Had a great experience staying at hostel. Really modern and clean room. Everyone was very friendly. Morgan at the reception was very helpful. Lot of activities and ways to make friends. It also has an in-house bar which is great. Andre at the bar played some great music which made the overall experience enjoyable. Totally recommend it.

I've stayed here several times, and it is definitely my preferred accommodation. Despite being dorm style, there's still quite a bit of privacy and an overall sense of high quality.A bonus is reasonably priced parking in the basement. You can hear pretty much any language at any given time because of the guests. It's pretty fantastic. Also, free coffee.I love that I have this available only an hour and a half from my home in Burlington, Vermont. It's such a convenient and high quality getaway.

very very nice! 24h front desk was very handy, and everyone i talked to was super nice!the room was pretty big but it had a bathroom attached with toilet + shower and it was very clean. the storage space was incredible - one of my bags is very big and usually doesnt fit in hostel lockers but this one did! i suppose its helpful that it was under the bed. I'm sure its common sense but i saw someone else complaining about it in another reivew - bring your own lock.speaking of which, the bed was very nice too - privacy curtain, charger port, shelves within the bed and a light, so if you want a light without disturbing your roommates, its very useful. i very rarely saw anyone else in my room despite it being a 10 person room, which may be a pro or a con for you depending on how you like to experience hostels.my room had a kitchenette but no pans or plates or anything that i could find, but if you really wanted to use it i suppose you could. the communal kitchen is much better and has plenty of pots and plates etc. aswell as places to sit and eat.its very close to a grocery store, and a subway. similar to what some other reviews have said, there ARE quite a few homeless people around the area. they mostly minded their own business though - i wouldn't worry too much about it.i know google maps and some other platforms say that there is a free breakfast, but i believe that is outdated. there IS breakfast available, however it costs something like 6 or 7 dollars. i don't know if its good or not.i didnt use the common areas much other than the kitchen, but they seemed nice enough. the bar downstairs has something different going on every day (karaoke, trivia etc.) which is fun.there is laundry available for 4 dollars i believe. the door automatically locks after a certain time (i think its meant to be 11pm). i tried to use it at around 9:30 one night and the door was already locked, but it probably would have been easily solved if i had gone to the 24h reception if i had thought of the idea at the time haha.all in all, i would recommend! it is a little bit pricey but it is very clean, good service and good location.

Stayed here twice now! Once in a private room (which was way beyond expectation) the other in a shared mixed gender room. Great hostel, in a good location, with friendly staff and people, a bar and hot tubs on the roof. Best hostel I've been to so far.
