I thought I was having transmission issues.. They kindly check my car out and found issues not transmission related and didn't charge me. They also wrote down the issues for me so I could take the Information to the correct places. Kevin and crew were awesome. We are going to use AJs next time we have an issue they can help us with.

I initially brought in my BMW in for a routine Transmission fluid change, I was having some other unrelated car issues as well, AJ Transmissions did an amazing job, They checked out the alternator & battery and realized it was dead and had it replaced, as well as letting me know that I am low onmy breaks which I had already picked up, overall I give them 5 stars due to them going up and above expectations. I was informed that the trans filter did not need replacing which saved me some money, most other dealers would have replaced it to make money, but they are an honest business!

Honestly as a backpacker with no knowledge or recommendations for mechanics I was surprised how straight forward and fair priced A.J. was, I'm very happy with the work and I would definitely recommend to backpackers and even better for locals.

AJ Transmission and Auto Repair is a great place to take your vehicle. They have helped me with my Ford Explorer, they sourced a used transmission for me, that saved me money and they worked out some issues with my vehicle. Now everything runs great. These guys work hard, do quality work and I have always felt good about the price. I highly recommend this business.

Dropped off my car at the shop on a Saturday night after being towed due to what was later diagnosed as a fractured front axle shaft. Called up on Monday and spoke to John. Called me back as promised later on during the same day and explained the issue and gave me an estimate ($375+tax). Paid over the phone and picked up the car later that same day. Even though I never met anyone on this transaction, it went real smooth and John was super friendly. Definitely would go back and highly recommended.

Highly recommend this shop. My truck had all kinds of problems and I couldn’t figure out what to do. AJ quickly diagnosed the problem. Rebuilt my transmission, fixed the wiring and I’m back on the road.

Nothing but respect for these guys. After breaking down in the middle of the night I towed my truck there because it was the closest to my campground. Sadly being out of town they were too busy at the time to get me in right away but had the kindness to take my truck out for a spin to confirm what the problem was and moved their vehicle to find me street parking until I found a place that had room sooner. Very kind, knowledgeable respectful guys. Strongly recommend
