Really loved it here, the facilities in the camp site were quite good, including covered outhouse, as well as wood delivered for the fire. We were able to rent a canoe as well. The reception staff soak both English and French. Will definitely be coming back here next year.

Amazing campsite - 20 - short 30 minute canoe ride, we had the whole island to ourselves. Sandy Beach, clean campsites, great swimming and exploring.

I stayed in a small cabin that slept 4 of us comfortably called Le Grand-Pic. I slept in the “open air”- a part of the cabin that is screened in but has no windows. It was a fun experience although the birds and chipmunks woke me up at 5am. Earplugs fixed that for night #2. This cabin is at the end of the road. It was very private and the lake was easily accessible. There is a tiny island right across that is easy to swim to. Very tiny space but it worked perfectly and was super cute! The open air section is nice to eat in and we played board games in that section at night for some fresh air.

An amazing day out on the huge, beautiful lake! canoe rental was easy and well priced There are many well maintained stopping points on their own islands which was perfect for stopping, chilling, eating and swimming. Toilets and benchs can be found in some islands some which was a nice surprise. Staff are wonderful and the place is easy to get to from Gatineau / Ottawa, only 1h20 via car. We enjoyed it so much we are going back in 2 weeks for the day and definitely camping later this summer! Thank you!

The best camping places in Quebec. The peacefulness and beauty of these island are what brings us back each time. Plus the fact that Poisson Blanc is dog-friendly is a huge blessing. The days of our dog freaking out in the middle of the night are long gone since your campsite isn't packed like sardines next to 30 other groups/guests

We camped at the Poisson Blanc in may 2022 and may 2023. The camping sites are probably the most beautiful in the Québec province (the park itself and the canoe ride are equally breathtaking). The staff is also very friendly. We fished, hiked, swam and overall had an amazing time. It would be a 5-star review if not for the fact that both years, we had noisy neighbours that really ruined the experience for us. This time around, the campsite across the water from us was listening to techno / pop music all evening long (from 5pm-10pm), even carrying their speaker with them on the canoe and screaming on top of their lungs at sunset. Two things management could do to ensure partyers don’t ruin the experience for everyone else:1) Giving how echo the reservoir is, ban music on those sites that have neighbours right across the water.2) Explain to people upon arrival that the reservoir is very echo, to be mindful of other campers and to keep the noise down. All this noise happened mostly on our second night. We tried calling the front desk but it was closed. We canoed across the water to ask our neighbors to turn the music down, which they did, but we could still hear everything from our site.I don’t think we will be back, and I wouldn't recommend camping there unless you don’t mind the noise. If you do, make sure to pick a site with no neighbors across the water.

Very nice place for camping on your own island. They even deliver wood water and ice if needed. Be prepared to paddle in the wind. It is a very large reservoir. Very clean and well prepared sites on the islands.

We love this park. So friendly staff, very helpful. It is very popular and reservations have to be done well in advance. We havr been 3 times there and can't wait next season to return.
