Saigon Star Restaurant
The food was amazing! So flavourful, especially the garlic butter crab. That was my favourite. The service was great as well, the waiters checked in multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our food. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Vietnamese cuisine!

Saigon Star Restaurant
It gets busy during dinner time so best to make reservations beforehand. We always come for the curry crab with either the roti or the french baguette and it doesn’t disappoint! It is a little spicy but super tasty when dipped with the bread. Be sure to wear darker clothes as the curry sauce tends to fly everywhere when cracking the shell!

The food and service were amazing. We had their lunch specials (they offer three menus that cannot be customized). The only reason why I wouldn't give it give stars was because their entrance was crowded with clutter and their tableware has definitely seen better days. I would still come back and recommend this place for the food and service.

Their signature curry sauce was delicious! It was 2.5lbs for $80, a good portion shared amongst three people with two additional dishes. Their viet coffee and durian smoothie were also excellent. Lastly, their service was immaculate! Multiple servers checked on us throughout our meal, and changed our plates when they were full.

If you’re craving for curry crab, this is THE spot! Throw some roti in and you have yourself a delicious meal.I came here with my family and also ordered the mango salad, stir fry clams, beef and chicken stewers. Mango salad was average, I’ve had better at other Viet restaurants. The mango slices were way too big, more appropriate to be plated on a fruit platter, not a salad. Beef skewer was a bit on the chewy side and the chicken was undercooked. You could see the pinkness of the meat. That was disappointing. I don’t recommend any of these three dishes.Friendly staff and fast service. Always bring cash if you’re at an Asian restaurant!

Because they’re always so busy, it can feel a bit crowded but they make up for it with their superb customer service. They make sure everyone is comfortable, offer booster seats, and high chairs as soon as you arrive to ensure everyone is comfortable. The dining plates turned over quickly for you while eating the more “hands on” foods (lobster, crab and etc), you never have to ask. Very efficient. That make you feel as if you’re at home.This restaurant has been around for so long. It has many, very long time, loyal staff - so it’s always a great sign and indicator when there’s been staff who have been there for 30 years. Has to say a lot about their business operations.Food quality is excellent. Cannot complain. Live stock on site for the lobster and crab. Everything is made fresh and you can taste that in the texture and quality of the food as each pate is brought out to you. It is a fine dine restaurant and for the service and quality of the food - the prices will reflect that and is worth every penny. We will be back!
