Element Edmonton West

The room was extremely clean and staff was super friendly, and they had a kitchenette, which made it perfect for cooking a meal in the room. Had all the dishes and cookware needed to make a good meal, too. They do give you a breakfast voucher with a chef that's cooks you some eggs with fresh veggies.My room was right next to elevator though which was quite loud when other patrons came out of it and went to their rooms.

I am a platinum member and usually love the element brand. I have stayed at this property many times before and today I am so disappointed and disgusted. The room is so filthy and the walls are so scraped, dented and dirty. The back of the door looks like someone stuck a sandwich on it and peeled it off. They “upgraded” me from a king room to a room with two queens (for one guest…) then I called to complain and ask to move rooms and they were oversold. If it wasn't 12:30am I would be changing hotels.I really liked the underground parking but not even that can get me to stay here again.

The rooms at this property are smaller than those at other North American Element properties. The one-bedroom suite does not have any separation between the bedroom and living room, and is more like a studio suite.The breakfast is extremely poor - this is the worst part of the hotel. There is another Element property near Calgary Airport, whose breakfast offerings are substantially superior.I would not recommend this property.

Great hotel! Very clean. Rooms have a full kitchen. They have an awesome free breakfast in the morning. Theres a great pool and big gym. The underground is a big plus! They share amenities with Four Points Sheraton which is really good. I've yet to try the restaurant, maybe on my next stay

Hotel was nice... easy to access. The hot breakfasts were amazing. The room was comfortable other than the terrible pillows. The pillows had hardly any stuffing in them. They have underground parking which is tight for a crew cab dodge but made it in.

The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel costs about $80 per night more than hotels in the surrounding area, while not really offering anything in return. I will say, the underground parking was a nice feature.

Probably one of the best sleeps I have had in a long time. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Offered completely wine and beer during there happy hour check with desk for times for a free drink. Breakfast was great you can get your egg cooked fresh and way you would like them. We had a king size suit was just right for us. Nice having a full fridge and cook top so you don’t have to eat all your meals out. This hotel is also pet friendly .

Had a great experience here. The rooms were nice and clean, I wasn't a big fan of sharing the pool with four points but it wasn't packed. The staff was very helpful. Love the breakfast made to order eggs of any type. The price is a little higher than I usually would pay but it was well worth it.

The hotel was clean (except for the pool!) and room nice but there were the details that were overlooked. Pool &fitness room is shared with four points and the pool was filthy, and hot tub broken. Laundry was out of order so sent me to the four points but neither four points or Elements had change for it (takes loonies or quarters).House keeping was every other day. First time they didn’t refill toilet paper, had to request some, second time they took the used towels and didn’t replace with new towels!
