Good people. Good selection. Policy of no refunds or exchanges for hygene reasons, which makes sense for a medical place. Prices are not low, but I think they are typical.

I bought a miami neck collar, walker, & cane. Very knowledgeable and friendly service. Prices are on par with other stores & internet for same items. Will be returning for extra cane & cane accessories. I was told right away there were no exchanges, which makes sense. I don't want anything someone else has used given the intimate nature of products. Employees were very nice. Also they have quality products.

I had to purchase a post-op shoe from the Jewish general hospital where slawner is located their so-called technician gave me the wrong shoe and my toe is not even supported. because they gave me a right instead of a left I was in so much pain I paid for the shoe and I went home only to discover that I had the wrong shoe I sent them a picture of my toe overlapping they replied the shoe is used and we can't help you but we will gladly give you 15% off your next purchase . a new business model for an old company. profits first customer satisfaction not even a factorand return business. Oh yeah monopoly.I hope your boss reads this @slawner ortho and Geneviève.

Horrible Customer Service -- Dreadful experienceI purchased a pair of compression socks (Sigvarous) to deal with swelling in my lower feet. The doctor had given me a prescription and I had the manager fit me, and put them on. The manager struggled to put them on-- did not know what she was doing for it took over 20 minutes to get them on. I had told the manager at the time of purchase that I needed these socks as I was going away on a trip during which I would be doing a lot of walking. Two hours later I took a walk and the socks slipped down to my calves. I called to return the socks and Slawner's response was the worse customer service I had ever experienced. They told me that my purchase was non-refundable. They refused to take any responsibility-- gave every excuse for why I had the problem and blamed the doctor for the prescription (even though they claimed to have great expertise). They are truly dreadful and would NEVER recommend this company.

I bought a pair of shoes with velcro closures, but bought the wrong size.I took an 11,but I should have taken a 10.My wife has had 3 amputations on her foot, where her toes have been removed, she only covers her feet when she has to go to Dyalisyis.they refused to exchange for a size 10.A sale shouldnt be the end of a transaction, but the beginning of an OBLIGATION.THeir sales people should think about that.Unhappy John G
