came to my home and gave me a quote but disappeared shortly after that. I tried to contact him numerous times but he would not return my calls. I gave up on this contractor and ended up hiring another company.

Had Scott change every window in our house including 3 bays. The job was sizable and took some time to complete but was done to our complete satisfaction. The installation was completed a year ago and we’re very happy with the product and workmanship. We highly recomend Homeworks and would use them again.

I wanted 4 windows replaced. I have other windows, including 2 bay windows, plus some doors that also may need replacing, but I wanted to use the replacement of these 4 windows to evaluate the quality of the windows and the workmanship of the installation. Scott Monteith, the owner and installer of HomeWorksWindows was in complete agreement with this. Here is what happened:Scott measured my windows 3 times before placing the order. Once when he first came over to discuss the job and then 2 more times when I decided to place the order to ensure accuracy. When the new windows arrived at his shop he said he measured them to ensure they were the correct sizes that he had ordered for me. He said they were correct, so we set an installation date.When he came over to install the windows he once again measured the old windows and the new replacement windows. He then said one of the replacement windows is the wrong size so he could only install 3 of the 4 windows and he would re-order the other one. Considering how many times the windows, both old and new were measured, I would have thought this should have been caught before showing up at the job site.I have emailed him and left voice messages for him to arrange for the other window to be installed. However, he has NEVER gotten back to me.It is difficult enough to find someone that will install only 4 windows. Many companies consider that to be too small of a job to be interested, so I now have to find someone else who is willing to install just 1 window. Of course there will be other windows and doors if I can find a competent supplier and installer. HomeWorksWindows has put me into an even more awkward position now.I consider his conduct very unprofessional. Ignoring a client is very disrespectful and really lowers the bar. I also have to question his ability to measure properly!

Scott is an exceptional installer and met all of my expectations. The work was done at a fair pace, to be expected with professional workmanship.
