Linwood Harbour Campground

Stopped for one night at this Family owned campground. Friendly staff and very accommodating at check in. Easy pull through for 31 foot RV. Very clean washrooms and showers. You do have to pay for the showers 4 quarters for 7 minutes. Great spot for laundry and a folding table. They do sell small items in the office in case you forgot something. The owner even came out to help some ladies with there hook up. Great spot

Pretty campground. Small, so quiet, which was nice. Well kept, grass and green areas mowed & well tended. Bathrooms & showers were clean & updated. Paid showers. The host & hostess were very friendly. Would definitely come back.

It’s a lovely campground, but you can hear quite a bit of highway noise through tent walls, and one of the locals decided to run his ATV without a muffler a few times during the night on a Thursday!The facilities are decent, offering clean showers and toilets, and they offer wifi with your site.I’d have given it another star but for the loss of sleep due to the highway and the ATV idiot.

Wonderful place. Very clean and modern facilities. Staff are very helpful and friendly. 1 picnic table and 1 adirondack chair at each site. Sites are close together on a slope and some are not level. Would definitely stay again

This place is a gem! Tranquil setting, well maintained grounds, clean and tidy washrooms and laundry facilities, and very hospitable hosts - what more could you ask for? We would definitely stay here again!

I just want to say thank you to John, his parents and sister for a fantastic stay at their campground. I have staid 4 weeks and still have a week left. They have been nothing but great! They have bent over backward to help and accommodate me. The sites are big and clean with wifi. The facilities are clean and they carry your basic needs in the store in case you left something behind. The laundry facilities are perfect for someone staying a while and very reasonably priced. The family is very friendly and I always have a great chat when I see them. They have a great philosophy of catering to the people, helping them enjoy their stay and their vacation. Thank you for a great stay and all you have done!!!!

Lovely place. Access to Linwood Harbour, there is a hiking trail, there are beaches all around. The bathrooms are clean. The owners are friendly and helpful. The lots are large and there is a playground. We enjoyed our visit.

Welcoming owners, tidy grounds, smallish sites but easy pull through access. The little park area was great to have, the kids spent alot of time over on the swings or just running around.Clean hot showers (¢.25x4=7mins) and bathrooms.Great little laundry facility with room to fold.Waterview was small but we took a beautiful but long hike(roughly 4k one way) out to an old boat slip and spent the day searching for sea critters and cool treasures. Take a backpack not a wagon for this hike. Owners will give directions at the office.Over all we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great little campground, enough room between sites, birds singing ,grass cut. Checking in was pleasant. Showers laundry. Beach just down the road. All a pleasant stay

Fantastic pit stop to or from Cape Breton. Rest rooms and other facilities are top notch with the owners onsite to help. Our tentsite(T1)was overlooking the lake and was beatiful. We could hear some road noise from the nearby highway but it was not too loud or disturbed our night's sleep. Will definitely stay here again.
