I've been bringing my dogs here for close to a decade. The staff is kind, friendly and knowledgeable and they truly care about their patients.

I've been to a few other veterinary hospitals over the years for pet care, but this place - referred to me by several friends who couldn't say enough 'good things'- gives me the confidence that my pet is in the best of hands. Staff is very friendly, very compassionate, and alternative options (chiropractic, acupuncture etc.) are offered as well which completes the care! I've had wonderful success with the healing of my horses by adding in the complementary methods.

Kingston Mills Veterinary Hospital is the best. They are caring, kind and concerned about our animals they take care of for us. Have been going there since my poodles were puppies and I am sure the staff love them as much as I do. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and Doctors. Thank you to them all.

I recently had my dog spayed by Dr Rutherford and could not have asked for a better experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My girl is healing well. I would not hesitate to recommend this vet.

I was very unimpressed. I took my mom to the vet today to put her 12 yrs old chihuahua to sleep. He was having difficulty breathing when we came in. Then asked about what cremation she wanted and what urn and if you dont make a decision will have to wait to release the body. I assisted my mother with the decision of urns as it wasn't handle nicely by vet tech. Then the vet tech gave him a sedative to relax him. He went into distress and it took over 15 mins to get assistance and asked three times for help. Finally when he was gasping for air the vet and vet tech enter. The vet tech took to attempts to inject another shoot to put him to sleep. The whole experience was horrendous for my mother and very traumatizing for her. The vet/owner was not very sympathetic. It was not a peaceful passing for our poor 12 yr old chihuahua. I will never recommend this clinic or any of there staff.

Compassionate persons employed here.Had to come here to put our eldest companion to rest. The vet was very compassionate as were all the attending staff.Humane has never been a favorite word of mine as i feel its lost its meaning over time, however, my wife and I have reconsidered the term as endearing given the dignity and reapect we were given during a time of hardship and loss.This is a humane animal hospital, good people work here.

We are giving them one star, because zero isn't an option. Our experience is: the Kingston Mills veterinarians just want your money, will misdiagnose your dog, and will insist on you paying for more tests when the intial test comes back negative because they misdiagnosed your dog. Don't waste your money at this animal hospital.

Our puppy Emma had a hotspot that became infected. We called Kingston Mills Vet Clinic and were told we'd be able to bring her in in 2 days. They called the next day and said to bring her in - so we got in a day earlier than they'd predicted. The staff were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. We dropped Emma off and picked her up a few hours later. We were given medications to treat her. Questions about the medications and how to give them were answered thoroughly and clearly. When Emma had a negative reaction to one of the meds, the clinic told us to bring her back right away. The meds were adjusted at no extra cost. Dr. Mark called the next morning to find out how Emma was doing, which knocked my socks off. I have never had such excellent veterinary service. Emma is recovering nicely. Plus: the clinic called a week later to ask how Emma was doing. They are a great team!Addition a year later: I can't say enough good things about these folks: techs and vets are patient, thorough, and compassionate. The people behind the desk are knowledgeable, *so* professional, and kind. This is the best vet clinic I have ever dealt with and I've owned numerous cats and dogs.

The Vet staff are extremely knowledgeable and absolutely amazing to deal with. Our dog loves going to se them!
