Canalta Hotel

My stay was overall good, sadly it was the after experience that ruined it for me. My coworker had forgot her charger in her hotel room and was able to contact the front desk to hold it for her. The women on the phone was very kind and said she would hold it until the next time we came through town since we work 3 hours away.A few months later (March 30 at noon), I stopped in to pick up the charger. I am shocked with how rudely I was treated by both the women working the front desk and the “manager”. When I explained the situation, the one women asked how long it had been since our stay, then stated it wouldn’t have been held since then, then the manager spoke up stating that they only keep items for 30 days. I again reiterated that she spoke with staff previously who stated they would hold it. Both women proceeded to tell me there is no way they would hold that item and refused to even look despite me asking them to. There was no apology from staff for the confusion or misrepresenting of holding the item. Both women appeared to be offended that I even came back to ask if the charger was there. I am so disappointed and quite honestly shocked by their behavior. Sadly, due to that poor experience they have lost all our business as no one from our agency will be staying there again.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast included a variety of options and the ‘hot’ food was fresh and hot.

Well maintained, very clean, well furnished and spacious room. Friendly and accommodating staff. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Provost.

Not a bad place to stay staff is really friendly. Breakfast is really good. Free popcorn was a bonus. A little pricey for what you get. Considering you can get like a four-star hotel in Edmonton for less but overall decent probably would stay again if price is dropped

Staff were so kind and welcoming as soon as we walked in. Went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was great and again staff went out of their way to serve guests.

Fabulous hotel with wonderful, friendly staff. Lovely hot breakfast with a lot of options. Nice large rooms and super clean. Tons of parking.

As a consultant I've had my share of hotels, nice king room big desk. Door to the outside as i have a 4 legged partner. Good choice for breaky.

I enjoyed my stay, despite the confusion regarding booking the stay in the first place.Happy it all worked out.AMAZING BREAKFAST!Decent gym as well.The bathroom amenities were wonderful and indigenous owned!The bed was lower than most which I genuinely prefer. The carpet could be updated, otherwise these were good rooms.This is a good spot for walking distance activities.

Very clean and welcoming hotel. Great breakfast too! My daughter forgot her stuffie so we went down to see if there was an off chance thaey had something for sale that would help get her to sleep. Kim opened up a treasure box full of little toys, free of charge! My daughter was very happy with her new my little pony and had a great sleep!
