AkibA KiSSA is a manga cafe where people can go to hang out, play boardgames and arcade games, read manga, or watch anime in their screening room. Admission to the cafe is $15 a person which includes one drink and unlimited access to the facilities.If you just want to hang out and grab some drinks/desserts in the lounge area, you can do that too without paying the admission fee but you won't have access to any of the other activities in site.AkibA KiSSA has its own pastry chef who creates desserts in line with the theme of the cafe such as the black sesame Totoro tart, Pikachu mango mousse cake and Rilakkuma chocolate mousse.

An amazing place .. I wanted to check it out.. and I was blown away! They have 15$ entry fee includes access to everything !! And get a drink from the menu included in the price... they have tons of manga to choose from and couches set up to sit back and read... game room with arcade games placed and two stations with Nintendo wiii set up.. atleast when I dropped by.. I think their systems change.. more the website.a theatre/ tournament room!!. On side note ..owner has one of the best looking evo! Cool guy

Super cute desserts! Although the price is kinda high, there's a lot you can do if you stay long enough. Comes with a drink ticket if you pay the flat rate to stay and play everything they have. Anime shown onto the wall, Mangas you can read, boardgames, video game room, and a really cool interactive screen game room where everyone uses their phone to play against each other. Great place to chill!

Found this place on social media, saw all the cute desserts so I decided to try it out. The place was not what I expected. I thought it was going to be a cute little cafe, but it's actually a manga cafe. Pretty unique. Probably the first in Toronto. The place is huge! It's filled with tons and tons of manga along the walls and a bunch of anime stuff. They also played animes projected on the wall. The place was clean and simple. They had a lot of seating. They also had a side area where you can order drinks, desserts and some snacks. Desserts were limited to a small selection about 5, I think.I was reading other peoples reviews and they stated that there was a sitting fee but the day that I visited, I wasn't charged the sitting fee. I was only there for the desserts anyways though. I had the totoro tart and the poo boy. Presentation wise, the dessert is adorable!! Tastes wise, it was meh.. okay I guess... not really my thing though. The poop boy was a little sour.Overall, nice place if you like anime or manga! Didn't really appeal to me though.

Awesome place to go for a coffee & some anime/manga. Massive collection of manga, they always have something cool going on and they have a bunch of games to play too.Staff is friendly & the atmosphere is laid back. If you like anime and want something to do with friends you need to come here.

Excellent place to hang out with friends and watch anime or play video games. You can watch any anime you want or play virtually any video game for a flat fee. They also have a coffee bar and serve Japanese street food snacks for the adventurous folks. They even serve Dragonballs" as dessert snacks but they were sold out by the time I got there. Highly recommend the curry fries. Great atmosphere and the people working there are nice. If you are looking for something different to do

Been a “irregular” regular at this manga cafe. I have so many positive experiences whenever I step in, with many manga I can read, games to play in the gaming section, and a lot of food to eat. And of course, the staff is very polite and make me feel very welcome.And all this at a very affordable price to walk in.

To me this place isn't really worth it. It's $15 just to get in and that comes with one drink. So you're paying $10 to get in essentially. It's good for niche interests like I'm going to read a bunch of this manga series that I've been wanting to read" or "let's play Street Fighter V on these real arcade machines" or "let's have a fun Smash Bros. session in the play room." NOT good for board gamers. The front entrance/vestibule area is a massive waste of space as well. It's like "was something supposed to be here?" And the decor inside is pretty non-existent and ho-hum.5/5 if you come here for your niche interests. 3/5 for a cafe/hang out spot."

A bless and a curse to be as far as I am from this cafe; would easily hang out here daily. Chill environment, owners are awesome, snacks and drinks are great, and the custom vewlix-like cabinets are a fantastic touch in the game room. Great place to chill alone or with friends!
