Riôtel Matane‎

Fabulous stay from start to finish! I booked 2 nights and used the pool, hot tub and dined at the restaurant both evenings. Hotel was clan, food was exceptional, and staff were friendly, and helpful. Amazing value! I will definitely book again!

Excellent place to stay on your path thru Matane, the pool and the sauna, good experiences to have with the sea view. Food, rooms, access cleanliness are impeccable. Staff always attentive. From my whole stay- only one thing that I didn't like on the breakfast, but it was just a little matter that can be fixed, for everything else I highly recommended! so it still deserved 5 stars!

Great spot. Would likely have been a 5 if we could have used the fire pit out on the beach but it was raining. Resteraunt was okay but expensive for the quality and quantity. Nice selection of beers....again, very pricey though. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the views are fantastic.

The hot tub and pool was closed. Very disappointing as that is why we came to that hotel! After a long day of riding snowmobiles, that is what we look forward to. There was no mention on their website or the booking website that they were closed for a week due to maintenance.

We enjoyed the waterfront firepit.The hotel was nice, but the AC system is very old and stopped in the middle of the night.Room was clean.Staff were amazing!They have 3 destination chargers, which was a huge plus for me.

This hotel was the saving grace of our trip-the one thing in Matane I would come back for!

Excellent hotel although a little disappointed that during our stay that the pool & spa were closed. One of the best meals I have had in a long time at Cargo Restaurant and I have already highly recommended it. We went in the winter and are already thinking of visiting in the summer. Besides the pool and spa being closed this is one of the nicest hotels and one of the best views in Matane, Quebec. Although a little pricey, I can say it was well worth the price.

We stayed at this hotel as we had a long journey that day by both car and ferry. It was perfect we got off ferry and hotel was minutes away. We weren't sure what was going on nearby but there was very loud music and our room smelled like campfire. Since it was the holiday week in Quebec we figured this was just a special event, we're not light sleepers so this did not disrupt our sleep. My daughter loved the pool and all it's supplied toys. You get a bathrobe which was just a nice added touch in an already nice room. The bedding was really nice. The staff wasn't smiling and welcoming but they were efficient. We felt Matane was boring, but since we were there for 1 night before camping it was perfect to take a shower, do groceries, enjoy a shrimp meal and watch someone catch a salmon and move on.
