If comedy is your thing, Rumor's is the place to enjoy it in Winnipeg! Every week, this venue on Corydon is home to national and international headliners in all comedy genres. As you enter, the huge photo gallery of well known past performers that have made audiences laugh, greets you. Staff are friendly and prior to the show, you can take your seat and enjoy food and drink from a large selection of beverages and tasty appetizers, shareable dishes, entrees and desserts. All are served quickly and efficiently at your table, large and small. Plenty of parking. You will enjoy a great evening of laughter, food and drink!

Went as a couple and although we had a great time I can see it being a great outing for groups or double dates. To be honest I had low expectations for the food but it was great! Huge Nacho platter that was too big for two and a really good spinach dip. I recommend showing up at least a half hour early because once the show starts it’s a little more difficult for eating because it gets quite dark. Great staff, great food and a great show… not too long either, just right! A lot of parking as well. Highly recommend.

Being new to Winnipeg, I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised: the parking was perfect as it's in a strip mall. The admission was swift and seating was great. The ambience of a classic basement comedy club was exactly what you want. We were happy with just water and no extra food or drinks and the waitress was completely ok with that. The washroom had lots of stalls and was clean!The only part I scratched my head about was the payment options at the end of the set: everyone was crowded around the entranceway lined up to pay....seemed a perfect set up for a dash and dine if you ask me.The warm up comedian, a local guy was excellent and the headliner was also very good....seemed to read the crowd exactly right. Well done Winnipeg!

Rumor's Restaurant & Comedy Club
My first time had a comedy club since going to Yuk Yuk's when I was a kid. Very grateful to have had front row seats and their nacho platter was phenomenal, enough for the four of us. Laughter is medicine for which there was a plenty, the talent they provide was much appreciated and will definitely go again. Great location plenty of parking and Rush seating but the layout of the establishment provides a great view of the stage from any spot.

Have been here many times. Always used to joke about the food. Not anymore. We had really great food - everyone in our group enjoyed it. Felicity worked so hard -- great service. Joey Elias was awesome - just totally engaged with the crowd - and the opening emcee/act was great - apologies - forgot his name -- The Man From Niverville -- could be a great Bond title -- he was terrific. Great night.

How disappointing. It's honestly an embarrassment. I've never been/attended such an unprofessional place before. Where do I begin.1) you need to yell to speak to the person beside you. Like TURN IT DOWN!2) UNORGANIZED. seated us 3 different times, and the GM blamed the fundraising group on why it was so chaotic.3) our group of 15 was not able to sit together because even though we called three times to confirm the reservation, they still couldn't figure it out.4) this place is just awful. Worst experience ever. I will never come back because of how horrible the experience was. Not only can I not hear, you can't see either because it's so dark.I feel terrible for the servers who have to go through this. Nightmare for them too and they are out in this situation.Customer service is horrendous. Literally this is a comical joke. It's so packed, you can't move. Come on, you want to have a fun, easy experience but how can anyone enjoy themselves when you can't get out of your seat, your general manager isn't qualified for the job, can't hear, can't speak, can't see, foods terrible and the drinks are disgusting.Time for a major upgrade and improvements.

Went to see a show recently and have been here a few times. Regardless of comedian, the service to get tickets and enter is always quick and pleasant. The food menu has quite a bit of variety, and the prices are mid range for what you get portion wise.Drinks were well done and food was mostly good.At the end service was quick and payment options met the needs of the crowd volumes. Would go again!

Comedians were great... food was not. My son ordered a pizza. There was hair baked into the cheese... I had a ceasar salad and the lettuce was brown on the ends. Wasn't impressed with the service. Asked our server for vinegar 3 times.There was maybe 40 people.
