My business, The Dream Clean a small local commercial cleaning service needed to rent out some equipment for a job we had in Tsawwassen.We had the privilege of being helped by Blaine. He helped us through the process and made it very easy for us. Blaine was informative, friendly, professional and went the extra mile for us.They close at 5 pm and open at 9 am and he allowed us to pick up our equipment prior to them closing so we had it for our job starting at 7 pm and was able to return it at 11 pm when we were done. This was all to help us save $7 for a full day rental and the fact that we didnt have storage room to keep it until the am. We were so fortunate that they went the extra mile for us. It allowed us to make our client happy in the process.We will be back renting from Blaine and his team at Low Cost Equipment Rentals in no time.Local supporting local.I truly recommend them.Thank you Blaine.

I recently had my mower serviced here - totally fantastic service from start to finish. It’s clear that they take pride in their work and they do whatever they have to in order to complete the job and please the customer. In our case, this amounted to them having to machine an existing part to work for our mower. Sam and his team are focused on the customer and doing a great job, all at very reasonable prices. I will recommend them, highly, to friends and neighbours.We need to support our local businesses to ensure that they are here for us when we need them!

So disappointed with this rental company. We usually rent from the other local company but they did not have the two pieces of equipment that we needed. So I decided to try out Low Cost. I wanted two piece of equipment, one of the pieces they did not have (said it was on the island) but they would give me the next best piece at the same cost of the item that was not available. Great! both pieces had to be delivered to my house and were delivered individually. I asked for a one day rental for a saturday and they were kind enough to deliver the two pieces to me late friday afternoon. Late saturday afternoon, they returned to pick up the items. They picked up the first and when I said, I needed the other one for a few more minutes but to go take the other one back and then return they said they didn't have time so would leave it until they reopened again on Tuesday. I will reiterate that the pieces had to be transported separately so it wasn't like they could have fit both pieces in the transport trailer. So come Tuesday, morning they come and pick up the remaining piece of equipment. Later that day I receive an invoice for WAY more than what I was originally told. The one piece of equipment that was picked up on the saturday was fine but the 2nd piece, I was charged for a 4 day rental. First off, it wasn't even 4 days that I had it and I only had the equipment on two days that they were closed, because they were too busy to return on the saturday to pick up the 2nd piece. I have made several calls that have fallen on deaf ears. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from this place. Rent from the other one as the owners are honest and not to mention Low Cost machinery is not in great condition. I will be telling everyone I know to not rent from these guys. It's unfortunate, because I do like to support local businesses. That is until you gouge me.EDIT: That was not what was communicated. He said, I need it for a bit can you come back at the end of your day. Meaning Saturday. AND I actually did read the invoice. Was told we would be charged for the powered wheelbarrow which is what was originally requested, but it was not available so you would supply the next closest equipment at the wheelbarrow rate. That rate is $85 on your website - Was charged $462.50 for the replacement piece of equipment.

Prompt service and friendly staff. We were in need of a dehumidifier and were given a quote for a daily and weekly rental in a reasonable time via email. When I arrived the associate had everything ready for me to sign. They helped me load it into the back of my SUV and away I went. Upon my return a week later; all I had to do was okay the invoice and drop off the unit. Really appreciated the efficiency in getting in and out. Pricing is reasonable and the unit did a marvelous job. Would use again and recommend them no problem.

One of my gaskets went on a pressure washer and decided to drop by Low Cost Equipment for some advice on how to replace it. He went in the back and found a gasket which was the right size and sent me on my way with a smile.Really nice people and would definitely go back!

Did not prepare my mobile uhaul pickup, had to reschedule for a different day, messed up my entire moving schedule.
