Our dog Baymax has had reactivity and anxiety challenges since he was a puppy. We have tried medication in combination with a purely positive training style with another trainer that just didn’t work out. At that time we thought it was just our dog’s behaviour that needed improvement, however, Wahid taught us the importance of the owner/handler’s role in a reactive dog. Confidence when walking Baymax, balanced training techniques to correct unwanted behaviour and overall consistent training has helped Baymax to the point where he can walk past another dog without losing his mind. Baymax absolutely loves hikes with the pack and we send him to daycare knowing, with full confidence, that he will be taken care of and safe.Baymax (the fluffy land cloud in the website photos) is one of the smallest dogs in the pack but has shown so much improvement through socialization on hikes and daycare with his friends. We are so incredibly grateful for Wahid and encourage any dog owner to consider enrolling their dog into Pups and Wags!
