The Snug Cafe
This place is amazing! It's conveniently located near the ferry on Bowen Island, making it the perfect spot for breakfast when you arrive. I got there around 8:30 AM and snagged breakfast just before the morning rush. I went for the eggs benny with avocado and tomato (vegetarian option), and it was delicious. Came with roasted potatoes on the side too. The seasoning was a bit light for me, but I fixed that with some hot sauce. The iced vanilla latte was fantastic too, refreshing and satisfying. I also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie and a muffin for later snacking—they were good, although a tad hard. Paid around $35 for my breakfast dish, coffee, and two bakery items, which seems fair for Bowen Island prices. Overall, I had a great experience and I'll definitely be back. The staff was friendly, and the location is beautiful. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic breakfast!

Really lovely spot with a great selection of food. We had the breakfast bagels and tea. The place is small but cozy and when it's full of people it's really friendly atmosphere, will definitely do the trip from the mainland just to go here again

Small, cute cafe right off the ferry. Huge selection options on the menu. Outdoor patio space available. It’s dog friendly which is always a bonus.

I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich with potato chips and it was very delicious and flavorful! The price was reasonable and the waiters are very helpful and energetic. Definitely a recommended place to eat while visiting Bowen island.

Good place for breakfast/brunch. The restaurant is really busy at all times. Our food took between 25-30 min to be delivered to our table. Once it was delivered we had to look for our cutlery. The staff seems to be really busy so you need to seat yourself.

Cute, easily recognizable place in the heart of Snug Cove. Can get really busy with surges of ferry-traffic folks - hopefully you time it right and don't have to wait long. Staff are efficient and do a great job. Cappuccino had the most amazing crema, soups were hearty, food was great in general - but the almond croissant is amazing!

Cute cafe right by the ferry terminal! Let them know if you are catching a ferry :)Love the atmosphere, they did a great job at maintaining one way traffic as you enter from the back of the cafe and exit up front. We tried chicken cranberry brie sandwich and barbeque chicken Panini. Our sides were hash brown and potato Bacon chicken soup. Sandwiches were pre made and grilled once you ordered, both very good and fresh. Love the taste of grill! Hashbrown was amazing, soft inside and crispy outside, flavour was just right! Soup is super creamy, very smooth, very savoury with big chunks of potato, bacon and chicken!Would come back again for their smoothies and veggie samosa :)

We had a great lunch at the Snug Cafe. I had a coffee and my partner enjoyed a hair latte. We split the special spicy prawn burrito and butternut squash soup as a side. Very welcoming environment and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone on Bowen whether or not you happen to be waiting on the ferry.

The place to go for coffee on Bowen Island. A good selection of food, including breakfast (try the Snugwich). I am picky about my coffee and love their dark roast. A good mix of locals and tourists. Drop by and give it a try.
