My entire family and I have been training in both the kids and the adult classes and, pleased to be advancing in the art of jiujitsu...the instructors are world class martial artists that know their craft. After checking out a number of dojo’s in Ottawa, Samurai Arts Academy stood out. A free 1 week trial is offered for those wanting to give it a try before commuting!! It’s genuinely worth the drive to Metcalfe:)

Samurai Arts Academy
This dojo is amazing. We shopped around a lot and did trial classes at several places in Ottawa. This one stood heads and tails above the others in terms of price and number of classes. Every place we called (10+) was only 2 times a week to train and was almost double what we pay at Samurai Arts - where we get to train 4x a week. This dojo is a no brainer. I recommend it to everyone.

Samurai Arts Academy
We brought our daughter to this dojo because she was being bullied mercilessly at school and we were hoping she'd find her voice. Wow! The whole dojo rallied behind her and now she is confident, proud of herself, and happy. The rest of our family joined up as a result. We're thrilled with this school. The instructors are kind, skilled, and they take an interest in every person who attends. At this school, you aren't a number - you really are family.

We love Samurai Art Academy as a family. We all do adult and kids classes of Jiu jitsu and kickboxing. As parents we love the perfect balance of discipline and fun. Very family oriented with great instructors. Love to see how higher level kids help the new students in a very kind and humble way. To me, the kids learn way more than just martial arts at this dojo, they learn lots of life skills. So happy to see the growth and confidence in our teenage daughter and preteen son. Also very happy and proud to be part of the Samurai Art Academy family.
