White Spot Central Saanich
I ordered a legendary burger on a lettuce bun and it was a let down. The patty was so thin and dried out and was broken into several pieces. The “lettuce wrap” was a giant chunk of iceberg lettuce and was brown around the edges. It was quite a shock as Whitespot burgers generally are “legendary”… my husband’s burger was fine. I’m going to McDonalds now (their burgers are head and shoulders above what I received from whitespot today, so that’s saying something…).

Delicious place to get food!! I’ve always loved whitespot as a place to get food. So today I passed by it and decided to get lunch here. It exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and the waiter was very nice and friendly. Only took like 10 minutes to get my food and it was delicious. If you’re looking for restaurant with a lot of variety and quick and friendly service I would recommend this place. Also, the food wasn’t too expensive!

Ordered the legendary burger and fries. Burger was not only the worst I have ever had at a White Spot, it was close to the worst burger I've ever had, period. The bun was literally rock hard and completely dry, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a several hours. Very little 'triple-o sauce' and dried up patty. Soggy lukewarm fries. We eat the White Spot burgers on the ferry and this was nothing like that. One would think there would be more consistency in quality in a chain restaurant. Flagged down the hostess (waitress dropped our food at the table and never came back to ask how the meal was, although the place was nearly empty at dinnertime), and I assume what was the manager came over and he took the burger away and came back about a minute later with another burger that was equally dried up and awful. They did remove my meal from the bill, which was appreciated, but after that experience we will not be back.

We had stopped coming to White Spot due to poor food and poor service. It has been at least 3yrs since we had last eaten here. I'm glad my brother and niece booked this for a family brunch. It was so much nicer than our last visits. New staff, new menu, much better. The floor is even cleaner.....(it was very dirty last time). I think they got their act together. Now, of the 11 of us, 2 had the waffles which they both complained were 'tough'. The waitress didn't even hesitate to take them off the bill, which settled the feelings of both people. So maybe it wasn't perfect, but it was much better than we expected. Coffee was filled slowly, but regularly, and it was decent. I had the avocado breakfast bowl, which was tasty. My wife had the breakfast wrap which was huge and she quite liked. They brought the 'endless' smashed brown's to everyone that requested them. All in all, a good meal.

When we came to white spot today it was really nice and quiet. The place wasn't busy at all. I was able to go around and get some nice photos and videos. The food was great excellent. The service there was exceptional considering it wasn't busy. Our server frequented the table quite often to ask if we needed anything. I will definitely go back here for great deal. This is a good spot for affordable food and family gatherings. I would definitely recommend white spot.

Awful.. ordered the BC sunny start (smash browns with an egg sandwich and fresh fruit). The smash browns were burnt yet somehow raw on the inside and I got an extremely sour taste when I bit into the sandwich. It was completely inedible and I felt sick after that one bite. Ended up puking in the bathroom before we left while my mother was waiting to pay the bill. Our waitress did not come out to get our payment, another fellow did. Absolutely sickening and I’m still suffering at home currently from whatever they served me that was rotten. We still paid $40 after all of this too. Will never be coming back and will be warning as many people as possible.

I am a big fan of White Spot. I've always loved their burgers so I do have high expectations for the restaurants. This location was good - it was not bad at all but it was not my favorite.I tried the fish and chips for the first time in a long time and my mom had the salmon burger. My meal was mid range - again, not bad but I'll go back to burgers next time. The salmon burger was very impressive and extremely well received. Lots of mmm

This was the second location of this chain I visited. The first one was horrible. I was with a group,so I didn't have another option. This location was top notch in all areas. We had a group of 40 and it was handled well and the food was actually good quality.
