Nice station and all but it'd be nice if they were open during the hours that they have posted. The signs state that they close at 9:30 however it's not even 6 PM and the doors are locked?

Stopped at this station few times to transfer from a Go train to the UP Express heading to the airport. Most of the time both trains are on the same platform, but once I had to switch platforms and it was very stressful and ended tapping the wrong machines. Please enhance the lighting when it's dark.

Weston, located in the northwest part of Toronto, is a charming and diverse neighborhood with a lot to offer. I had the opportunity to explore Weston recently, and I was pleasantly surprised by its unique character and vibrant atmosphere. One of the standout features of Weston is its rich history and architectural beauty. The area is dotted with beautiful heritage buildings and landmarks, showcasing its past and adding to its overall charm. The historic Weston Village area, in particular, has a quaint small-town feel with its charming shops and eateries. The community spirit in Weston is evident through the various local events and festivals that take place throughout the year. I had the pleasure of attending one such event during my visit and was impressed by the lively atmosphere and the strong sense of community pride. The residents were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.Weston also boasts several parks and green spaces, providing opportunities for outdoor activities and relaxation. Cruickshank Park, in particular, offers a peaceful retreat with its picturesque walking trails and scenic views. In terms of amenities, Weston provides a good range of services, including local shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. While it may not have the same level of variety as larger commercial areas, it still offers the essentials and showcases local businesses. One area for improvement would be transportation options. While Weston is well-served by public transportation, including bus and train routes, it can sometimes be challenging to access other parts of the city during peak hours. However, efforts are being made to improve transportation infrastructure in the area, which is a positive development.Overall, Weston is a hidden gem in Toronto, offering a delightful blend of history, community spirit, and natural beauty. Whether you're exploring the local shops, enjoying a walk in the park, or attending a community event, Weston provides a unique and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend visiting this charming neighborhood and immersing yourself in its welcoming ambiance.

Nice to take the UP Express daily. SADLY the CITY of Toronto has decided to convert almost All the parking into a cash grab charging now 98 dollars per month if you want to park there.

Always clean and very well lit. Only issue is with the platform changing (if you're rushing for that train) where you get on the Union-bound train on Platform 3 in the morning but then it's platform 2 at other times? Not sure if this has been fixed since I've not used the UP since COVID19.

The UPX line isn't perfect and there are a few things I'd do to fix it... (TTC integration, more stations, electric trains etc) but I am very happy to have it.Less than 15 mins to union station and about 10 to the airport. The parking situation isn't very good and to be quite honest I think it should go altogether and the lot replaced with a bus loop and small bus terminal so the Lawrence and Weston buses can drop off passengers. I'm happy to see them charge for parking and I hope it's not cheap. We shouldn't be subsidizing drivers at transit stations. That seems backwards.Anyways, this is actually a 5-star review for a reason... :-P the neighborhood has benefited immensely from this... the murals, the pedestrian bridge, and the best transit experience in Toronto. Bike lanes on Weston or a West Toronto RailPath extension would be a nice way to get here though. ;-)

I’m glad they did a good job on renovating this station and adding the new UP Express and I hope they can have more people enter and exit from this station just like back from 1974 till 2012 when it was a single platform back then.

Took UP express from this station.... I was very impressed by the efficiency and how quickly I made it to union station. The staff do check your Presto/tickets while you’re on the train, they are really on top of things. Toronto is catching up!

It's a very nice station. It's well lit, it's fairly easy to get to by TTC, and the UP Express is great. My only gripes are that the station building is only open during weekday rush hours (platforms are always available), so you can't use the washroom or check-in for a flight if you arrive outside of rush hours; and that GO service to Kitchener only runs in the peak direction as well, so no quick hops to the KW or St. Jacob's Market.Otherwise, a great station to use, and I'm hoping for improvements on both fronts!
