Budget Lodge

Bed bugs. I left in the middle of the night. It's a budget lodge so I don't expect much but there is a minimum standard of cleanliness that is expected.

Decent location with simple and clean rooms, the shared bathroom definitely isn't optimal but it was kept clean and for the price I was pretty impressed overall.If you're a light sleeper I recommend going for the quieter rooms in the basement as the noise from the road is fairly loud.

Would have given negative rating if I could. Worst customer service ever. For every single issue the property manager says he can’t do anything. Someone puked in the bathroom, my food was eaten. Guests yelling 6:30 in the morning. No privacy no safety whatsoever. Had to leave the place in middle of my stay. Would never recommend to anyone. Spend a few extra dollars and get some better place to stay

We stayed here on July 2 2023 and never again. We used to always stay for Dr specialist appointments with our 3 sons disease. What happened to this place? New owners? Absolutely filthy and dirty walls bed etc. No towels. Not even paper towels in bathroom to wash hands

this place is not a bad stay for the price. there are some downsides, I only got one fresh towel when I arrived. the walls in one of the rooms I stayed looked like they have not been clean in a very long while. room 10 had the most uncomfortable bed, I woke up in the morning with my back feeling like it had been punch all night.

Filthy dirty, bed bugs, and a additude that leaves you knowing, ownership gets annoyed if you request they address the problems, arguing no such problem exists and customer being unreasonable.Bottom line, unless your into unpleasant management,unsanitary rooms where they try and mask the infestation,worn out furnishings, and a no refund policy, after you find out you have been mislead about facilities, don't expect a refund. After all according to management, customers that complain are exaggerating, even when you bring them proof of bedbugs, they deny their is a problem.Kitchen was filthy, cupboards, fridge microwave dirty, no cups or dishes. Chairs falling apart, dirty table.My advise, health department needs to shut them down. This will be my next call, and pursuit for health safety.

I had booked for an entire week through Expedia but changed the reservation to one night due to it not having a kitchen to cook in. I Didn’t end up staying the night due to bed bugs. I left in the middle of the night tired and grossed out. I left quick the lady at the front was generally helpful and told me I would get an emt sent to me for my refund but I never got anything back. I did not feel comfortable there and it was so gross. it was my first time seeing bed bugs. I wouldn’t even give it one star. They seemed not to care for the bed bugs when informed about them. So they’re most likely aware they are there.

The foreign goof told me i cant rent a room because IM from out of province and dont own a drivers license and he wont accept id

Pretty good for the price I paid. Reception guy let me check in early. The room was clean and the shared bathroom was reasonably clean. The location is close to the city centre and the neigborhood felt safe.Would stay again.
