Figure 8 Skating Club

Such a great skating club! We are in CanSkate and the instructors are great at helping myself and my kids as beginner skaters. My boys are much more confident on the ice. They also have great timeslots available that dont interfere with our other activities.

Super flexible coaching staff, very accommodating when working with parents to help find a schedule that works for you. My daughter has been skating with Figure 8 for four years now, starting in CANSkate, and then progressing into Intro to Figure Skating and finally STARSkate. Kenilworth Arena is a cute, little rink with great ice and a nice spectator area. Figure 8 definitely has a the community skating club vibe going on, much more welcoming feel than a big club in huge, community centre rink which can be intimidating to people who aren't sure if figure skating or CANSkating lessons are for them.

My daughter has been skating here for three seasons and I am amazed at how much she had improved! Coaches are nice and friendly. Appreciate all the volunteers helping out. Wish there were a bit more one in one time though!
