Laneway is a wonderful addition to Cumberland. Excellent atmosphere and great service. The sandwiches are amazing as is the coffee selection. I will continue to go back and try more items on the menu!

A third wave coffee shop is what our wonderful Cumberland was missing and am I oh so glad that it is Laneway that made their home here! Rotating different coffee roasters, exceptional coffee and delicious sandwiches that also can be accommodated for vegans. A gem of a spot!

Stopped in yesterday (May 21) for the first time and we ordered the pork sandwich and the chicken one. Both were fantastic. The fresh sub bun, crispy coleslaw and other ingredients made for a refreshing and wondering combination. I love pork or schnitzel on a bun and often make it at home and these guys hit a home run for sure. Staff were very friendly and even on a real busy day in Cumberland, our coffee and sandwiches were ready in a real short time, which we both commented on how quick the service was. Well done. And we will be back.

Probably the best sandwiches I’ve ever had honestly! My husband and I shared the chicken one and beef one. Wow, so amazing!! Cool place, would love to go back to try more stuff.

Fantastic place! I ordered the day's feature sandwich and it was AMAZING and filling. Not at all dry as some sandwiches can be. I also got 2 mac and cheese sides for my young picky children ($7) and they LOVED it. From their coffee menu, I had a vanilla flat white with their house made vanilla syrup. Very dog friendly outside, plenty of them relaxing in the shade. 10/10, will be back!

From the ambiance (love the big beautiful green wall with logo) delicious coffee and super tasty food this coffee shop is a welcome addition to Cumberland! We tried the Mac & Cheese, Beef Sandwich & Vegetarian Sandwich. Prices are great!

Hands down my favourite cafe in the Comox Valley. Fun, funky and inviting space with the sweetest staff and tastiest foods. I swear I could have the breakfast bagel even single day and never get tired of it. And the coffee? **chefs kiss**It's a must visit
