This year's not only more complex because of COVID-19, but also because the Percé peer is under construction and therefore the boats leave from a nearby town (just 10 min drive)It's confusing to me what the difference is between the various cruise companies; it didn't seem to matter who you bought your tickets from; everyone ended up on the same boat.If you're very worried about COVID-19, you might not like this set up. The boat we were in was fully packed. The staff makes sure everyone sanitized their hands while boarding and asks that everyone keep their mask on. I saw someone take theirs off during the trip and the staff didn't say anything, but I think the adult customer is more at fault there than the staff who should have to babysit adults. The fact that the boat couldn't leave from Percé means a longer boat ride. The waves were definitely unforgiving for anyone who tends to get sea sick when we went. If you think you might be seas sick, bring bags or ask the staff for one before the boat leaves the dock. They handed out bags after they started noticing people getting sick in their own bags.We did the tour of the Bonaventure Island. I think the other cruises are not currently running but will return once the Percé dock is re-opened, but please confirm with the ticket office.Expect that you may need to pay another $5 for parking. Make sure you have cash for this. The cruise around the island was nice. Don't expect commentary from the staff as you go around. If you don't plan on getting off on the island to hike, then enjoy the view of the northern gannet colony. It's quite a site.If you want to get off on the island (and weather permits), keep in mind this is a provincial park and as such you need to purchase a daily pass to gain access on the sepaq. I recommend doing this in advance on the sepaq website. You'll be happy to avoid having to line up once you arrive on the island. The northern gannet colony is even more impressive from the island (the smell, not so much though).

It’s a shame that there’s an dishonest collector boy of the parking at such beautiful place. And we found we are not the only one who encountered same thing. The boy told us that we had to pay 5 dollars for parking even if we would buy boat tickets after breakfast, but we can get it back when we buy boat tickets. After, we got nothing back even if I showed the parking ticket to the sales lady and the boy. They just told us that “you can keep it”. I never encountered such thing in Canada before.

Nice service. Trip close to the Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island. We did the trails to watch the gannet colonies. Whales and Seals citing. Very picturesque.

Definitely a worthwhile trip for the whole family. The basic tour is done in French and English and lasts about 1.5 hours. We saw both sides of the Richer Percé ans went around Bonaventure island. Since we took the last tour (4 p.m.) we didn't get to go for the extra island walking tour. The kids were too tired anyways. The bird sanctuary was impressive and we got to see grey seals, minsk whales and humpback whales. What a treat! Highly recommended but bring your sea legs as it can get a bit rough.

Worthwhile trip if you like nature and the sea. The boat takes you up close to the Percé Rock and the Bonaventure island. The guide explains in English and French. Went there in July and weather was wonderful. You can get off on the island and wait for the next boat.

Well organized tour by boat of Perce Rock and Ile Bonaventure. Sound system could be improved as the commentary was difficult to hear. Every excursion will be different due to weather and wildlife sightings.

So glad we did this. The views of the rock and the island are fabulous and we saw seals from the boat. Highly recommend getting off the boat and hiking across Bonaventure Island. You get right up close to the gannet colonies and see so many more than from the boat (i.e. tens of thousands). We also had much better views of seals from the island, including a couple that were lying on the beach. We took the shortest trail across (Les Colonies) and the longest one back (Chemin du Roy) which had lots of historic sites and is where we had the best seal sightings. Easy hikes. The tourism office told us all the boat tours are the same and the same price. People with tickets for both tour companies were getting on the same boat. Line up early if you want good seats. Only downside: the sound system on the boat was not great and we often couldn't understand/hear the English info. Don't miss this in Perce.

Asked for a tour of the percé rock and bonne aventure Island and got sold a 40$ ferry to the island. You also have to pay for parking near the dock where the boats are. Very disappointing. Website still lists the tour for 40$..
