Living LIGHTING Pickering

I have gone into this store twice in my life and both times (separate occasions as I like to give benefit of doubt to people), I found the staff working there, particularly one person who might be manager, to be rude, a bit arrogant and generally not friendly with his attitude. I would describe his customer service as horrible. I am looking for a light and I am reluctant to go shop here , because last time I was there I told myself never again. To the staff of this store, please improve your attitude towards ALL people, maybe you are selectively treating customers diff, but I will certainty never shop at your store based on your attitude.

We bough three pendant lights, of which one was a floor model. They refused to discount the floor model, and did a terrible job wrapping it, that a couple of days ago, the electrician came to install them and the floor model glass was broken, inside the wrap. So there is no way the glass broke because of us mishandeling it, as the bubble wrap was intact from the outside, it was loose metal parts that broke the glass. I contacted them and emailed them and they wouldn't respond. These people need to understand that prices no longer attracts customers, great customer service does. I should have gone online and bought them, as I fond the exact same model $30 cheaper. I would not recommend this store.

This place has horrible staff. My pregnant wife and I went to this store this morning and the lady staff there wouldn't let her take the catalogue to the table (few feet away from the desk) so that she can sit and review it. The lady responded to questions on dimensions like I don't know

Great Selection & Friendly Staff

Despite what other reviewers have said, we found staff at this store friendly and very knowledgeable. Patrick spent many hours with us as we planned out lighting requirements for a new house.

Poor service, employees do not ask if you need help and you have to approach them whenever you ask any questions they Direct you to goto their website. Will never go back. I ended up purchasing all my lights from another store close by.

Tons of selection, knowledgeable staff, very friendly! (And good prices)

We wanted to order 5 pendant lights today which they had on their website. Instead, we were told they were not taking any in store orders until January and that they would only sell what they had in stock. Yes, we have to wait a month before we can even place an order...too late, we ordered from another lighting store that was more than happy to place an order. The staff there were less than helpful when we asked which lights would work with a high cathedral ceiling.

I've had nothing but good buying experiences from this store. Personable staff!

Visited for the store looking for an expert" on lighting to help with our kitchen light search. We didn't ended up buying anything from the store but found the attendant very knowledgeable and helpful with giving us hints and tips on how to pick out the perfect light. We were also surprised by the huge selection of in store and online lighting fixtures."
