Flores & Pine
I have been to Flores & Pine several times and have consistently had a great experience with the food and service. The meats are cooked with wood which gives them an amazing flavor that is hard to find elsewhere. I especially recommend the Hunter's Board, which has a great variety and selection of meats. The Tomahawk Board is also good, but I personally prefer the Hunter's Board due to the wider range of meats and vegetables. The vegetables on both boards are also a highlight and make them a must-try for anyone who enjoys a good variety of sides. In particular, the Szechuan Brussels sprouts are the best I've ever had - they are cooked to perfection and the sauce is out of this world.One thing I will say is that the pasta dishes at Flores & Pine are not particularly good. While the meats are cooked to perfection, the pasta is a bit of a letdown. However, the meats are so good that I would still recommend Flores & Pine overall.Aside from the pasta, the rest of the food at Flores & Pine is top-notch. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere is nice, warm, and fancy. I have always had a great experience at Flores & Pine and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys wood-fired meats, a variety of vegetables, and especially amazing Szechuan Brussels sprouts.

I recently had my engagement dinner here and it was really great! The service was excellent! Our server brought us some special extras to celebrate our engagement and made some great recommendations for menu options. I ended up sharing the Tomahawk Steak board and everything was extremely delicious! Others in our party had the chicken and duck and both were really great tasting as well. The restaurant is private, intimate, and tastefully decorated. They have a giant screened in patio and a couple of wood burning fireplaces. I definitely would recommend for special occasions! They even do Sunday brunch - yum!

Had a very special evening at Flores and Pine with friends a couple nights ago. The restaurant ambiance is high-class and the service was top notch. The service was excellent, hospitable and professional. This was our second time coming to F&P and we came as a group of 4 knowing that we wanted to try one of their large signature F&P boards, which we chose the signature cuts board because we wanted to try different types of meat. This is a lot of food and just the board alone will stuff 4 people, or comfortably feed 5-6 people with room for appetizers and dessert.The cuts of meat were cooked and seasoned exceptionally well; the duck breast and veal chop were our favorite, tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly medium. The side dishes were also delicious, with the standout being the truffle mac and cheese.I definitely recommend F&P especially if you are looking for a special occasion to celebrate.

I was searching for a special place for a birthday celebration and just happened to find Flores and Pine on Google Maps. I had no idea such an amazing restaurant was just outside of Calgary.All of our food was remarkable. Incredibly tender steaks, flavourful sauces, perfectly cooked vegetables and the accompaniments were incredible. The kitchen sent over a small plate of treats with happy birthday written in chocolate.If you're wondering if this place is worth it, rest assured it is. I can't imagine anyone would be disappointed with the food, staff and ambiance.We will certainly be back in the future! Thanks Flores and Pine!

The atmosphere and service was amazing. i think our servers name was Juan and he was great. We were given complimentary app and dessert - i think because we made a birthday reservation. Prawn starter was also really good. The only mid part of the experience was our entrees, we were excited for the steak but were both pretty dissappointed, not a ton of flavor in the steak or the sides really. We do want to go back and try some other dishes though, the menu was intriguing

IMMACULATE atmosphere, and impeccable experience at Flores and Pine! The staff were incredible; they were prompt, attentive, and had great insight when we were inquiring about certain menu items.Starters: Cold Smoked Beef Tartare, Brussel Sprouts, Fresh Burrata. My personal favourite was the tartare -- it's a MUST TRY! The sprouts were also incredible, and full of flavour! The bread not he Fresh Burrata was incredible.Entree: Hunters board. This was enough for 4 people, and was MOUTH WATERING! You get 4 different cuts of meat, and a whole spread of accompaniments.Highly recommend!

Our first impression of Flores & Pine was that of reserved elegance. This location has been a high class restaurant for quite some time, but F&P has definitely brought elegance and sophistication to the location.Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by the front of house gentleman, presumably the GM. He noted that I had mentioned that this was my partner and my late Valentine's dinner and made arrangements for us to have a quiet table in the back corner.We were met at the table by Christine who greeted and welcomed us, followed by our server Ollie - Ollie was exceptionally knowledgeable and well rounded in both the wine list as well as the pairings on the menu.I ordered the 8oz Tenderloin and my partner has the prime rib special and we were absolutely blown away at the quality of the dishes, the tenderness of the meat as well as the presentation. Right off the bat, we could tell that the staff in the kitchen had a passion for serving spectacular food and providing an excellence with their service. The starter, Battered Prawns, we're delicate, succulent and left us wanting another order.I cannot sing high enough praises of the staff, both kitchen and front of house for Flores & Pine.If you are seeking a fine dining establishment without the elbow-to-elbow of somewhere in the city, I would happily and highly recommend F&P.Thank you for making our late Valentine's Day so special for us. You all went above and beyond. We will certainly be returning soon!

Flores and Pine$$$8/10• I’ve been to Flores and Pine a couple times now and each time I find that they consistently deliver great quality dishes• located in a massive venue right outside Calgary in Bearspaw, F&P has a gorgeous interior that could woo anyone for any occasion• I won’t go through every dish I’ve tried but F&P is known for their special wood fire oven that is one of a kind to them in all of Canada• of course, their meats are incredible, nice and tender and flavourful and you get to experience Alberta Beef at its best• the burrata is a must-get, massive portion and a great quality dish• for sides, the Mac and cheese was the only notable one to me but they have so many options, you’re bound to find something you like• they’ve got a huge drink menu as well and the best one I’ve tried yet is the Flores and Pineapple• Overall, a great place to check out that not many people know about and I will definitely be going again!

Had a lovely experience here as first time visitors! The service was 10/10 and everyone we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. We came to celebrate a birthday and they had placed a happy birthday card on the table - a beautiful touch that we really appreciated. We enjoyed sitting in the atrium, although we would have been happy in any area of the restaurant as they were all beautiful in their own way. I ordered a lamb burger with truffle fries and both were fantastic! Each dish seemed to have a beautiful balance of flavours and the portions were generous. We did have to wait a while for our food. This didn't bother us as high end food typically takes longer to prepare, they were quite busy, and they did bring a complimentary appetizer while we waited. We will definitely return!
