I do recommend this place for one of the best kabab in Hamilton Ontario batter then hani x1000 and good prices too, taste amazing as an Iraqi kabab.

Watch out for the cashier charging you extra. The girls at the cash pretend they are fast and yes they are but there's a reason for that. They are quickly adding items to your bill and before you notice, you pay extra for things you didn't buy. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until I got home and with the attitude I've seen in that store; I know they'll just cause me more headaches if I call them about this. Best is not to go back. I wish I could give them zero or negative stars. You can't sell religious things and steal from people it's haram حرام. Thieves!!!

I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience with the meat department. I can honestly say that I will never set foot in that establishment again. The butcher sold me a piece of meat that was clearly old and dried up. It was evident from the discolored appearance and sickly look of the meat that something was seriously wrong. As a consumer, I expect fresh and healthy products, and this was a complete letdown.The fact that the meat appeared to be from an unhealthy source raises concerns about its safety and quality. I couldn't help but wonder if it had diseases or other issues that could potentially harm my health. This is absolutely unacceptable, and it shows a blatant disregard for the well-being of customers.Moreover, my dissatisfaction didn't end with the poor quality of the product. When I attempted to return the bad item, the customer service I received was appalling. It seemed as though they had no interest in addressing my concerns or rectifying the situation. This lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction is disappointing, to say the least.To make matters worse, this is not an isolated incident. My trust in this store has been eroded over the years, dating back to 1992 when they were located on Concession Street. It is disheartening to witness such a decline in quality and customer service over such a long period.Considering my experience and the lack of attention given to customer concerns, I strongly advise against shopping at this particular store. The meat department's failure to provide fresh, healthy products and their dismissive attitude towards customers' complaints have left a lasting negative impression on me.In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend this store or its meat department to anyone. It is evident that they have fallen far short of achieving full customer satisfaction. I sincerely hope that they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to regain the trust of their customers. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere, where quality and customer service are held in higher regard.

Great store that is SO much more than just a store. Have a snack, pick up some FRESH BAKED bread that is Amazing along with some awesome Spinach pies! All the spices You need, so many coffee choices and as for olives, WOW, a whole aisle with so many to choose from, everyone I bring just Love it. Many packaged bread choices, You will definitely find what You like, no doubt, and always fresh. Freezer section and deli too. If You can't find it here, it probably doesn't exist anymore. We Love it. Last time I was in the Woman at the checkout asked if I was a hidden Lebanese.....no I said, but I married one, and with one You get the whole Loving Family. So there You go, everything You need and super Friendly too! We travel from Niagara about twice a month and it IS worth the drive. A winner! Oh ya and Baclava too!!

When you buy the steak from there, it was $13.99 per lbs, I asked the guy to cut me two steaks 1 inch thick. After cutting the steaks he showed me and packed in a plastic bag. Once I reached home there was some extra old meat in my bag which wasn't the parts of steaks. Butcher added 200 grams extra cheap old meat in my bag and charged me extra for unwanted meat.

I really love the spinach pies from here. Their pita bread is always fresh as the turnover seems to be daily. The people who work there are super friendly. It's the only place I can get toum for a reasonable price. The spices I get are decently priced. Great options for plant based friends. I only gave the door 4 stars because I find that some of the hot foods have gone up in price quite a bit. I want expecting a $2-$3 mark up

I am a regular customer at this store, today I went into the bathrooms and they were so nasty and dirty, and no soap to wash ur hands but the smell was so bad I couldn't stay in so I went to the front desk and I told the owner about the what I saw, he replied very rudely, I don't care and I don't care because people are dirty and nasty. And he was like, Go complain to the city if u want too

Prices are reasonable. The place requires more organization. The restaurant inside makes a lot of smoke. In our last visit, our clothes smelled like we were bathed in a barbecue grill. Staff is friendly and there's a lot of parking.

I went there to buy dates, and it said it was very good dates. The box was sealed and when I went home I tried ut and ut didn't even taste edible, I went back for a refund I asked the cashier and she said I will ask the manager and she told me the manager said they can't return, and I talked to the manager and asked why can you not return it, and she responded un a very rude way and said if you don't like this store do not come back and I ended up leaving the fates on the table and they didn't even care even though I payed for it
