Was a great school until they decided to take out the most convenient girls bathroom to make it into a genderless bathroom because, social justice. Great art program though. The teachers loved me.

Northern Secondary School
NSS is one of the best schools in Toronto, this is the opinion of my two young children in grade 10 and 12. The school has excellent teachers and a lot of variety of programs.

This school along with Jarvis Collegiate Institute is one of the two filming locations of Carrie 2013. Also, does anyone know the name of the song that plays when Carrie and Tommy make their way to the stage after winning Prom King and Queen?

Feel so great to be back to school. Inspiring, energetic, and the smells of youth. It is easy to access from Eglinton Station too, either by bus or on foot

Would not recommend due to bad teachers, old building, bugs and no A/C which gets really bad in hot weather ( good luck in graduation). Only good part is United Way week, UW fashion show. Better luck w/ North Toronto. Though its not as sketchy as outsiders say - graduate

Great, big school. A good school for any student. Teachers and staff try to engage all students into activities. cafeteria isn't too bad. Prices are low. If you cannot afford food, the guidance office will help you.Beautiful auditorium and big library. Computers are there for work only so bring your own laptop to watch movies. 3 floors just for class rooms. Lots of choices for gym, and arts. Amazing new field was recently just built. Enjoy the high school experience!

I never went to this school, but I knew lots of people that went here and visited quite a few times. Excellent location and atmosphere!
