Toytown

Maybe they were having a bad day but the service lacking big time. No one greeted us or acknowledged our presence, not even a thank you after my transaction. My son had to chase down an employee to ask for a basket when my hands were full. 3-4 of them were too busy talking at the check out. The manager was yelling from her office across the store to an employee at the check out, it was really uncomfortable for shoppers. They seemed more concerned with a customer on the phone than making a sale. Boxes all over the floor… lots of room for improvement.

I’m so so sad to leave this review. My husband has been going to this store since he was a kid and has been one of our local toy store for generations. We had a extremely unpleasant visit today, while in the store there was a child looking at toys and their parent was not directly next to the child (the store is not very big) the cashier commented “look at these parents, not even watching their child”. We were mostly looking for the holidays and some upcoming birthdays in a few weeks. We had to leave for a appointment and was subjected to criticism by the staff “look at these people, just looking around and not buying anything” I was not aware that every single store anyone stepped into they were not allowed to look unless they purchased something. I was planning on going back at a later time to buy a few items we had picked up but was deeply saddened by these comments in which my husband also heard. I’m all for supporting local however due to this experience I will be encouraging everyone I know to support other local business.

Friendly staff and good selection of toys for all ages.

Last few weeks placed some orders that made isolating kids VERY happy! Great selection, service and opted for delivery for the most recent order and was impressed with mile1 the delivery partner too!

(All in a matter of minutes!!)This was 100% a smooth transaction!!They truly spread the joy and cheer of holiday season!! I am beyond pleased!!

We came in so my son could buy a lava lamp with his Christmas money. The woman behind the counter was very helpful, and even let him take one out of the box to see what the colors looked like in person. She also took the time to explain the care instructions to us.

This is a fantastic toy shop with the best present options for unique gifting and excellent customer service.

What an awesome store and staff. I went there near closing in a semi-rush and was helped as if it were the beginning of a shift. You can tell when employees are treated well by how they approach their work, and it shows. Fun spot!
