I am a regular client here.S. Indian and Srilankan cuisine.Tasty food. Small batch cooking and frequent refreshing of food.Food offering is of practical assortment.My most fav are Dhosa, String hoppers, Pittu and Kottu roti.Best wishes to the Mom n Pop owners.

Last week I visited this place and today I went again at Sockan, First time in Canada I found Indian taste here. According to me ,In whole GTA Sockan is best place for South Indian dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Must try Mango faluda. Loved it !!!

I have been taking take out for 2 years from this place.Food: Even though they do not have many menu items, their food are delicious and fresh.Price: Very reasonably pricedCustomer Experience: Very friendly staff, always feels like returning because of the positive experience you would have.Advice: Call in and order before you go.

Excellent food! Sambar vada was out of this world! We bought stringhoppers accompanied with coconut sambol. The coconut sambol tasted just like back home. Good job! We also ordered chicken curry and mutton curry. They were delicious and the price was right too! The owner who served us was very friendly and pleasant!The only drawback was the time it took to get the food ready. It took almost 20 minutes waiting time. I suggest to call in advance so that your food will be ready for pick up.Good job Sockan Cafe, keep up the good taste!!

Super delicious. Their medhu vada and Sambhar is my favorite. Super moist and not spicy at all. Very reasonable. Idli was on point.

Will not be going, food is not prepared well.No receipt was given but they have sign claiming tax on all items. Unprofessional.
