Nice place to see the boats

Not bad, not great. I came as a visitor and not a yacht owner. Has an unrefined, dated 90s feel which accurately represents the existing aging community members there. If you're a retired boat owner this is the place for you. If you're a younger 20-30 something, it will feel like visiting your grandfather's cottage.

Nice yacht club, good sailing camp, relaxed atmosphere. Not particularly boujiee environment, gate is tricky and causes problems. Sailing camp is taken fairly seriously, treat their boats much better than other ya hot clubs. Good location, not too busy.

We have reciprocating rights at EYC. After a 6 day sail to the GTA area to have Genco install a dodger and bimini .. we were welcomed with open arms after PCYC refused to acknowledge us as a reciprocating club (there loss our gain in learning about EYC). We stayed 7 nights .. made some great new friends .. and yes .. despite the aging population of members there .. it is changing to welcome more family members and boaters in the 20-30 range. You'll find the right crowd to hang out with in no time. I wish we weren't a 6 hour drive away because we'd join up in a nanosecond despite it being more $$$ than our own self help yacht club. If you're lucky enough to know a member .. visit there you will not be disappointed. Beautiful gardens maintained by members. Great tikki bar! Awesome playground for kids of all ages. Community kitchen .. the best I've seen so far in any reciprocating club I've been to.
