I normally don't write reviews on big box stores but the customer service I received today was nothing short of above and beyond.I went in this afternoon to make a return on a 3Ah Battery W/Charger I was in a hurry to get back to the job site and thought I'd make the return well I was on the East side of Owen Sound. I believe the young lady that assisted me in hardware was named Shelby, she was very informative on the return process, along with being fast and efficient. The Woman running the customer service desk was helpful and friendly as well.

I have been in retail for at least 4 years now, as a sales associate at my job in Owen Sound not to mention a key holder and team lead at one of the biggest companies in Canada, I applied at Home Depot recently for a job asking for the same exact thing I’m doing now but with more experience but because I didnt answer over the phone interview questions there way , they say my “skills” aren’t strong enough? It is almost impossible to get hold of lumber department by phone. I gave my phone # for call back but no one called. Store needs to hire more people to support customer. The staff are professional and knowledgeable just not enough employees in store. Review is for Owen sound store.

It is what it is. Employees have varying levels of knowledge. Today's employee didn't know what a screen door closer was or even if HD sold such a thing. Lucky for me a female associate from another department knew better than he did. God bless a good intelligent woman.

Three online orders = three failures to provide acceptable service. First order...arrive to pick it up...part of order is missing...dude was already bothered he even had to come to the desk to talk to me and get my order...but then just angrily shrugs and tries to walk away after I tell him part of my order is missing (already paid for it online)...he pretends to look for it for like 5 seconds, then says, it's not here

I was truly disappointed in Home Depot Owen Sound today. We were told our delivery would be here no later than noon. I called at 12:20pm to find out where it is. I was told they were really busy and it was just leaving.A courtesy call to let me know that would have gone a long way and I would have understood.

The Owen sound home Depot gives out misleading information!!! One employee tells you one thing while someone at customer service tells you another!! Horrible horrible customer service!! If you don't mind the drive I recommend the one in Collingwood. You can never find anyone in that store in Owen sound to help and when you do find someone there is usually 4 or 5 of them just standing around talking and then when you ask for help they treat you asif you have interrupted them!!This Owen sound home Depot over the last few years has gone down hill 100%,
