Very friendly and helpful staff and they have a huge selection of shoes and boots. It's a great choice when looking for foot wear.

I wish I could comment on the customer service, but it was non-existent. Went in 2 days ago looking for 2-3 pairs of dress casual shoes. Price literally did not matter. Aside from the employee opening the velvet rope and trying to put hand sanitizer on my baby, there was no help from any staff. They did not even say Hi". There were 3 or 4 employees working that day - they simply stood on the other side of the store

How Does Searles get an average rating of 3.8? I scanned the first 25 reviews and found the vast majority to be negative.My experience has been varied. Unlike many customers who gave a one-star rating, I find the customer service to be good, AS LONG AS you don’t deal with the female owner!! The sales staff seem quite keen to help with advice, but the female owner seems too eager just to make a sale.I suponate, so cushy shoes deform too quickly. I bought a very-expensive pair of shoes at Searles, and they deformed within a few months too. The owner’s advice was to buy a new pair every 3-4 months. Nice for her!! Not so nice for me.Instead I went to a shoe repairer, who inserted a small wedge in the shoe to counteract the deformation. This increased the useful life of the shoe by a year. Why didn’t the owner at Searles suggest such an option? Self interest? She certainly wasn’t overly concerned about my interest.

It's not that I don't believe the bad reviews, but when I went in there was a young man helping me and I got a pair of blundstones thanks to him helping me try on several pairs of shoes. They were helpful and patient with me, walking me through the different styles and features and giving me all the time I needed to walk around the store with the shoes on feeling them out. Helped me get insoles to make the shoes fit perfectly and honestly it was an all around good experience. Will probably go back.

Was a decent experience (after waiting 1/2 hour to get in) buying the shoes but my doctor said I couldn't wear them (have foot/ankle problems) and their return policy is horrible. The shoes have never been worn and they're still brand new in the box but because it's been 16 days, I'm over their 14 day return. Get with the times... we're living in a pandemic and not everyone can make it back in time. They also won't make a medical exception on 2 days. Definitely won't be going back.

Best customer service I've ever had at a shoe store in my life. Had help from 3 different employees. Went above and beyond to help me and my weird feet. Recommended a nice pair on a sale and got a fantastic deal. 5/5!

High quality footwear and a good selection. This place has been around for a long time and they know their product.

They have a beautiful selection of quality footwear and are good at selling the shoes. If you have any issues/problems, I find they lack in being helpful. So the customer service needs big improvement.

I’ve purchased 3 pairs of Blundstones from this place. My pair had a issue of the sole separating from the leather (seams) I took them in for warranty. They said its normal, but they’d try. About a week goes by and I call in. Basically they never bothered to try to submit them for warranty and forgot about me, again said it was normal… ITS NOT! I reached out to Blundstone myself and a new pair is on the way! This is why I don’t support local businesses because of horrible customer service like this. You guys lied to me and completely wasted my time. Also guess what? Buying another pair, not from you!

I went into the store this week with my husband to find sandals, I needed to get proper sandals with arch support because of a Neuroma in my foot. It would have been great to come out of the store with sandals had I gotten any help at all or even been acknowledged.Customer service was non-existent. There were 3 people working and (including myself and husband) 5 customers. So we waited and waited to be noticed. We were in the shop for about 20 minutes with no greeting or Hello" or "we'll be with you in a minute"... other customers left
