Shoppers Drug Mart

The pharmacy here used to be great. I have had the worst experience these past 2 months.The first time they said they would fax my doctor for my refill and 2 weeks later after 3 phone calls to the pharmacy (and finally an in-person visit), I found out they never did. I was hung up on twice and transferred to the post office. The pharmacist was extremely rude and I was very close to running out of my prescription. This is unacceptable.I was owed 4 pills in a prescription and they told me I'd receive a text message when it was ready. This was over 4 weeks ago. I call today and they tell me they were already picked up. I live out of the area so I definitely DID NOT pick up the remainder. No one else could have picked them up. So where is the remainder??I am switching pharmacies immediately and I advise anyone else with prescriptions here to do the same.

More staff needed. 45 minutes and my phone call still not answered at pharmacy. Disappointing- stocking of the shelves leaves a lot to be desired as well- they NEVER have NyQuil on the shelves! I’m willing to pay the shoppers drug Mart prices, but I want to see shoppers drug Mart service.If this kind of nonsense continues, I’ll be shopping elsewhere

Absolute worst pharmacy to deal with. This is my home pharmacy but I’ve had to transfer a few scripts to a northern pharmacy while I was away for work. Every time I try to transfer them back it’s a hassle. They take my information down when I call and never call me back. Half the time I go to pick up my prescriptions and they don’t have them. I spent 25 minutes on hold trying to call them and no one answered the phone so I ended up driving over just to find out, yet again, that they never filled the prescription. Terrible service.

Highly dissatisfied by their service...I went there for a presto card ( I dont need much money in it as I am a student and I do have a redeem voucher) I did bought 2 presto card from there before and at that time I only had to put 5 cent for activation and this time when I went over there they said they need 10 dollar for activating . They said it's the decision of new manager, his name is Taylor. I even talked to him . His attitude towards me as a customer was highly disappointing .but the girl as cashier was highly understanding but there is nothing she can do.

Praba (not sure if I spelt it correct) the pharmacist was rude and difficult to deal with. Just went elsewhere to get the script . Also who still uses fax as the only method to get a script in, it’s 2023. Get with the year.

Unfortunately this is my pharmacy, If it wasn’t I would not step foot in here again. I was questioned if I paid for everything- I had spent a bit of time in cosmetics looking at new items and such. At check out I was asked “if I paid for anything from cosmetics”… An absolute insult to someone who works hard for their money. Will only be getting my medications from here going forward. Disgusting.

My husband went to get a passport picture and the staff member didn't adjust the camera properly and it made him a much darker shade than he is, Service Canada rejected it. When I called to ask about a redo, Robert in customer service answered promptly (and at 10pm even!) and instructed us to return for a no charge photo. Carrie, the manager on duty didn't give him a hassle at 8am the next day when he returned and got him in and out without delay. Thank you for the great customer service.

Store employees are always friendly and helpful. Pharmacy not so much. Felt like I was a nuisance. Had an appointment for covid shot, but waited fifteen minutes even though there were no customers.

This location is right next to Service Canada, but I couldn’t get a passport picture because nobody was trained to operate the camera. Seriously!!! The manager needs to do their job and get some training done.
