We enjoyed dinner on the deck Ashley provided friendly attentive service. The food is excellent especially the blackened salmon Keto sandwich with side salad. The salmon was fresh and perfectly cooked. Also enjoyed was the cheese burger and fries. The fries are excellent ! Our only complaint was that we asked to be moved to a table by the water we were told that once you sit down they have a policy to not move out of a servers section. We understand this and thankfully most of the seating has a lovely view of the sound . Perhaps When a table in the same section opens up staff could offer to move patrons to a desired table .

Beautiful spot and great atmosphere. However, it isn't a reliable spot to stop on a road trip. We've successfully ordered take out once (I don't believe they offer this anymore) and the other two times we've visited they were under staffed and really long waits. Food was great when we did try it, but it's disappointing to strike out so many times trying to eat here. Likely won't bother coming off the highway again, but if you're not in a hurry it's a beautiful location.

I ordered the Avocado Turkey burger. It was suppose to come with avocado, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions and dill mayonnaise. It came with no dill mayo and no avocado. Had to ask two different people before I could get them both brought to the table. By then I was almost finished my burger. Waitress (Justine) was very nice to start then rude. Walked away mid conversation. I paid full price for this meal plus extra $6 for gluten free bun and salad (I’m celiac, not a choice)

The location is great and it’s a very busy spot, which may be why the kitchen took forever to get the food out. Our server was new to the restaurant but tried his best. The blackened salmon sandwich was good. Fish and chips were a good portion size but came warm, not hot. The glass of draft was so warm…. It was as if it came right from the dishwasher. Not what you want when you are on the patio in the sun. Atmosphere is very nice but lots just drinking, so a bit loud for a family dinner out. Very small kids menu , which is probably intentional. Still we’re lots of kids. Will try again.

Pretty restaurant in a pretty location. What a nice place to visit on a bright sunny spring day! Great service, good menu. My sweet potato fries with my blackened catfish sandwich could have been hotter. They were tepid but I was with guests, and didn't want to make a scene sending them back while their meals got cold waiting for mine to come back. I will give them a second chance.

Just went to Tailwinds for a celebratory Valentine's Day lunch. Restaurant was not busy. We were seated immediately. Wait staff walked past us numerous times without acknowledgement, after 10 minutes we put our coats back on and left. The waitress on seeing us leave thanked us for coming! Will never recommend or be back.

Great patio on a warm Saturday night. Service was good (like everywhere under staffed so 35 minute wait to get a table but nice and attentive server). Fantastic live music and great to watch the float planes, cruise ships, seadoos and boats coming and going. Catfish sandwich was good(spicy). Great way to spend a Saturday night.

Nothing like their other location.Upon arrival, the outside of the restaurant is littered with lemons, bottle caps and trash. Its spring and things get lost in the snow. Willing to overlook it.We were seated and left there for 20 minutes till we got tired of watching other people get seated and served. We walked out. It was 230 in the afternoon so it's not like it was busy. Bringing us a glass of water would have sufficed....anything.I gave 2 stars because the location is beautiful and the menue looked half decent. If this was based on purely first appearance and service it would be in the negatives.The other Tailwings location is beautiful and one of my favorite restaurants. This was incredibly disappointing.

Dinner With A Lovely View Of Parry Sound HarborMy family and I happened to have dinner at Parry Sound right after our Island Queen cruise in late August 2022. The food itself was okay but not great (at least my pizza platter, expensive and extremely thin). My kids was better especially the salmon but small portion. Reason I give it a 4-star is simply because of the awesome view of the habour (we sat outside right near the sea planes), and also because of the waitress friendliness and consideration for us. When it was imminent the thunderstorm was about to come, she strongly advised us to come inside because we were out in the patio. We heed to her advise (although we were left to our own devises to find ourselves a table) and came inside. About 10 minutes later it rained like crazy! Another instance I wasn't too happy about was the receptionist attitude. When we came to the restaurant she asked us where we'd like to seat. We said outside in the patio which was fine. However she chose us to sit in a secluded part but I pointed the spot with a more beautiful view (I was not reserved and had 4 seats for the 4 of us). She seemed annoyed and overheard her saying it doesn't matter
