Fantastic company that helps to get a job and believe in yourself. I worked with very experienced professionals Kim at the beginning and Gilberte for almost seven months. They helped me update my resume, prepare me for interviews and regularly support me in job searching. Gilberte helps me even during the struggling periods when nobody responds on resume and during total silence. She regularly followed up with me, invited me to almost every Job-event at Prospect, gave me a lot of helpful information. I appreciate their work and support. I definitely would suggest this company to all my friends who are searching for a job.

After joining Prospect Human Services, I have been very motivated and am involved in many areas, with the ongoing help from Dana Olsen ERC Co Ordinator, is very approachable and very sincere to helping me out with digital literacy. Raquel Dewitt employment advisor also Kim Dalton the employment specialist who mentors my progress and gives me advise and feedback on resume writing and encourages me to new ideas. my experience with prospect has been great in helping me find work and get back to my grind. I was lucky to have Kim D and Crystal P as my employment specialist and career coach respectively. Great personalized advice in networking and work search, I was also connected by Kim to a potential employer and will be starting soon. Thank you both amazing ladies for all you do :).

As a newcomer in Canada, a good friend of mine recommended that I touch base with Prospect Human Services - Calgary since he previously had an excellent experience with Kim. I reached out to Prospect Human Services sometime end of December 2021. Subsequently, I was fortunate enough to work with Kim. She was very prompt in replying and organizing our meetings. Kim helped me out in structuring my resume tailored to suit the Canadian system. We also had several online meetings about one-on-one interviews and insights pertaining to the current employment landscape. During the process of applying for jobs in Calgary, there were challenges and hurdles that came along. It is definitely important to have an experienced career advisor who can provide substantial inputs on how to stay on top of the helm. A month after working closely with Prospect Human Services, the efforts paid off as I was able to land a good job in the furniture industry. Overall, I highly recommend Prospect Human Services to all newcomers and immigrants in Canada.

I've had some some great experiences at Prospect and some experiences that could of gone better.There were some really nice people who were understanding of me and people who are the in the opposite in this organization when it comes some of the case managers, support workers and job coaches.Prospect has supported me in the post when it comes to helping find a jobs that's I've keep for years with certain staff and finding a place to live for the time being.I've had experiences where some staff didn't understand my needs for example, like when I clearly acknowledge that part time work would be good for my mental well being and sometimes they would encourage some full time positions on me.I think prospect humans services has a lot of potential coming from a person who's been used their services in on and off for around 10 years. It's great that they have computers, resources, workshops and could help client find potential job leads. But rather than just focusing on numbers of clients to get funding. I would like to see Prospect integrate more emphasizes and emotional support on being flexible on working with everyone client on what they want in a job, connecting with them and acknowledging what they go through as everyone co-ops with mental health differently, but being flexible to being able to adapt to their needs. But recognizing that there's a stigma for people in the workforce for people with learning disabilities, work anxiety disorder and other disabilities for to find stable employment and being able connected, emphasize andrelate with clients with what they go through and helping them find what works for them. Because everyone is different. Not just saying there a job agency for people with disabilities and mental health and just operating like every other job agency by just impressing employers. But addressing and listening to their needs as wellI'd also like to see Prospect integrate the option for clients to part take in group activities with clients and staff outside of Prospect like going arcade's, rock climbing, arcades, hiking bars, etc. So clients can meet new people and don't have to feel the burden of what they go through by themselves with finding employment.

My husband and I were referred to Prospect in 2018, and we had high hopes for getting help finding employment. The initial ladies we had: Sarah and Joy, were amazing and extremely helpful! They were kind, caring and compassionate. We were assigned the same EPS, Wanda, and that's where it all fell apart. Having one on one time with her was a joke - she spent more time glued to her phone looking at photos on FaceBook then assisting me in my job search. I was interested in getting in administration, and was told that I wouldn't be noticed, as I have little experience and no one would dare look at my resume - so discouraging! The only helpful thing Wanda did was recommend I go to counselling, which was so helpful! We were given the feeling that we were wasting Wanda's precious time - and yes I understand that she is a busy person with many clients (she informed me she had over 700), but be compassionate to those who may need it! I am still waiting for my 30/60/90 day follow up that Wanda promised me (this was from 2019).We also dealt with many other amazing people at Prospect: from the front end reception to the people who hosted the workshops we attended. They were kind, insightful and very helpful.All in all, I would rate Wanda 0 stars, everyone else 5 stars, hence the 3 star rating. If you have the unfortunate luck of having Wanda as your EPS, run away or request someone else.

My experience with Prospect has been nothing short of wonderful! Extremely professional people who are knowledgeable, helpful and prompt with their services. Sadia, my Career Advisor, helped me with job search strategies, building my resume and improving my networking skills. Kim, my Employment Counselor, is highly experienced and a thorough professional. She literally hand-held me throughout my job search journey and shared valuable inputs and tips which helped me in landing a dream job in my field. A BIG Heartfelt Thank You to the Prospect Team :)
