We just got home from our cottage rental vacation and this is now the third summer in a row we have rented using vacation time. Each year we have rented a different cottage , based on our needs with a family with 2 kids and now a dog. Each year is better then the last! The ladies in the office are so helpful and accommodating and really make every effort to help find the perfect rental. I couldn't see myself renting ever using any other agency. They have wonderful properties to rent out and they are all so well kept and maintained. This was our first time ever on a river property and it was a gem. Thank You to Vacation Time for another amazing summer experience!!!

I have been using Vacation Time to rent a cottage for 4yrs now and Laurie/Melissa are a pleasure to deal with and make my annual planning so easy. Pick up and drop off of keys is well organized and they are always quick to respond to any issues that may arise during my stay, although I can say I have not had many, as the cottage is so well maintained. My kids refer to the cottage as “our cottage” because this is how the whole experience makes you feel. Thank you for your great service over the years!

We rented a cottage for a 3 day weekend with Vacation Rentals, and their customer service was great. They took care of everything, forwarded our questions to the owners several times and put us in contact with the house keeper for last minute check ups and doubts. We celebrated our small wedding in the cottage and everything was perfect. Cottage was exactly as described, and it worked perfectly for our little ceremony and gathering. I have no doubts that we will do ‘business’ again with Vacation Rentals.

We have vacationed in Muskoka for many years -- renting a family property that was finally sold - so we had to find a new vacation place. Our first experience renting privately was a nightmare. The renters advertised the cottage was on Lake of Bays -- and guess what, it wasn't. It was on a very tiny lake outside Dorset.So we decided to rent through an agency and were pleasantly surprised with Vacation Time Real Estate. We found the website quite helpful with it's search capabilities and our rental was exactly as pictured -- beautiful. We were so happy we rented the same property for three years consecutively.We were also extremely pleased with the professionalism and helpfulness of all the staff. So much so we used Rosemary King to help us find our own Muskoka vacation property -- that we are now sharing with our family and friends.We would highly recommend the rental and real estate services of Vacation Time Real Estate!Kelly and Amin Khan

I cannot agree more with below review of Ashley S.Renters pls be aware!This agency in my opinion choses profit over safety.I rented the cottage on Brandy lake and a couple of days before my departure the friend of mine sent me the link of muskoka news warning against swimming on brandy lake due to algie problem.I called agency to investigate on my behalf but they acted as no big deal. I called simcoe-muskoka health unit according to their advice but the algie issue grew even larger. Not only it was unsafe to swim at this cottage due to proximity of algie bloom, the health unit also warned me about using the water inside the house if supplied from the lake.You would think they would return money immediately In order for me find something else or find me suitable replacement At least.But instead they held my money hostage until 2 days prior to departure and until they found someone else to take this cottage. They rerented unsafe cottage even after knowing the risk imposed by algie bloom.Treated my cancellation as “business as usual” and never refunded 100%.It appears to them it is ok to rent the cottage near algie bloom posing health hazard while so many business are loosing money due to Covid 19.Not fair. While other business are loosing money they are thriving and taking advantage of this situation. I don’t see toxins from algie bloom any less dangerous.And this whole situation we would avoid if they had the knowledge of this somewhat common problem on some of the muskoka lakes. Or they chose not fully to disclose the info. In either case it is their miss and should take fully responsibility & give 100% refund.

Melissa and Laurie in the rental office are fantastic! Quick to respond and assist and always got back to us with answers in regards to various properties. Made our rental experience seamless! Highly recommend!

****Renters Beware**** Vacation Time Rental absolutely ruined our vacation. While others might have had luck with the company we were very disappointed. Not only did we not get to have our month long vacation, we were out THOUSANDS of dollars.The cottage they rented us was right beside a loud highway with unbearable sound that you could hear even when you were in the cottage with the door closed. While they did mention close to HWY 8" in the description I believe a better description was in order as I really don't know who

Since selling our family cottage many years ago my family has been renting in the Muskoka area. I have had nothing but great experiences with Melissa and Laurie at Vacation Time who have helped me find the right rental property for my needs. This past year I needed a house that would accept pets as my sister was bringing her dog. They were able to find me a renter willing to accommodate my needs. Thanks!
