In this challenging and competitive market, it's so important to have a realtor you can trust, one who is motivated by a desire to truly help their clients find their dream home. Dan Cleland was that and more. He is professional, knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely cares about his clients. He really listened to our list of must haves and drove all over the Muskoka Region for us, over a six month period, until we finally found the one. His extensive knowledge of building structures, septics and water systems is so integral when searching for a home in the north, as there are so many issues that can hide behind staging, paint and flooring. Dan then looked after the sale of our cottage, which resulted in a multiple bid situation. Dan and Wendy are both awesome. They helped me buy and sell two residential homes in Muskoka and purchase a recreational cottage property further north. The Inniss are lying and unethical realtors. They will say anything to sell a property and weave a tale around their web of lies. We bought a property trusting them and1 were pressured to pay full price based on a presumed long list of people biding2 were assured hydro poles would be moved at no cost to us to be told Fay before closing this was not the case and pressured again to close or lose the property to other bidders3. Were shown pictures of a waterfront on which we based our decision only to find out after closing that this waterfront was on someone else's propertyThese lies have cost us several hundreds of thousand dollars. We were stupid to trust the realtor.Will see them in court
