Gus The Other Barber

I’ve tried a few barbers in Toronto now and Hassan has been far and away the best. He’s always welcoming, friendly, and treats all of his clients with respect. He goes above and beyond what needs to be done to cut a guy’s hair. Trust me here and give him a try. Could not recommend him more, 10/10.

First visit, best haircut of my life. Will be going back. Did not expect the attention to detail I received.

Nice place especially if you are into soccer, tons of historic football images. I went for a shave, the service was wonderfully done by Mike! Will be back again!

Davie did a great job cutting my hair. I felt like he listened to what I wanted and genuinely cared about doing a good job by checking in with me, taking his time and paying attention to detail.

Got my hair done today by Abbas. He was amazing. Pro level of work. Reasonable prices and nice looking place. It gave me so much energy watching all the football stuff. Good luck guys my experience was great

Barber I got was nice and took care in getting my hair right BUT the place was filthy. Also used a straight razor on my neck to take some of the hair off and it gave me an awful razor burn/rash for the day. Must have not cleaned it or reused it. Also this place needs to advertise that it’s cash only. There’s an ATM in the store which charges a nice fee to withdraw your money so cost of the haircut is whatever the price they say + $3.50. Yeah, no thanks.

Best barber shop in Toronto! I've been getting my haircuts at Gus the other Barber for over 10 years now. It's such a friendly place and you're sure to have a couple laughs during your visits. Master barber Hassan and other talented barbers provide amazing service and they always deliver with awesome haircuts. The walls are adorned with soccer memorabilia, and photos of past visitors including Honest Ed himself, a testament to this neighbourhood hub and welcoming place that's been around for over 60 years. Good value and easy to get to - just around the corner from Christie Station. Highly recommended!!

The convenience and cost-effectiveness of this place has so far been unmatched in my experience, although I've only been there 3 or 4 times.Also none of the employees there are Gus. Gus is retired.
