I had two Japanese kitchen knives sharpened. Very fast turnaround. Dropped them off on Saturday and picked them up on Sunday. The knives are incredibly sharp. Even sharper than the day we bought them. Very happy with the service and result. Definitely recommend and will certainly be using the service again.

I had been looking for someone in Norfolk that would sharpen dressmaking/tailors’ shears. I found Matt via some searching online and found some great reviews. I took 5 pairs of dressmaking scissors (various sizes) and two pairs garden lawn edgers on a Tuesday and got them all back 24 hrs later. I was nervous in handing over my tailors’ shears as I use these a lot. I need not have worried; he did an excellent job on everything. The lawn edgers are cutting through the grass like a hot knife through butter. Would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Called Matt during the week and enquired if he did gardening tools. He did and so reasonably priced. Other half dropped off shears and lawn mower blade off and later the same day collected. Amazing service and tools now cut perfectly again. Would highly recommend!

Matt has hand sharpened all my knives to a beautiful finish, and for very reasonable rates. They are extremely sharp, so much so that I can slice a tomato horizontally without holding it. I will definitely use his services again.Edit (8 months later): I've just had them all sharpened again and the results are as good as the first time. Also very fast and still for excellent rates.

I dropped 12 knives of to Matt ranging from bespoke made to order in England, Japanese and European. Some needed to be re-edge and some refined. The results are fantastic. Couldn’t wish for a better local and professional service. Matt managed to have them back to me within a couple of days as well.
