I would give it any stars. Maybe it’s goid when you are in but highly disappointed with intake.My son has been battling with addiction and mental health issues. He made the call to try to get in as an in patient as out patient where he has been going in not working. He is trying to get help but was told “ no sorry we can’t gelp you go bs knto your perceiving doctor”.So unimpressed with the defeating manner he is dealing with. The system is failing these people and then they wonder why so many people are dying from addiction.

This place is a life saver honestly recommend this to anyone who's going through addiction. Their are so many options of help . !! Amazing program and very careing and attending staff . They truly do care !! And want people to succeed. 5* food could be a little better . !! Just a bit close to hospital food. !! Other then that no complaints!!!

They have some very caring staff and doctors I just wish there was a bit more follow up

The lady on the phone said your not the only desperate person and hung up. Detoxed at home dangerously. By th way that lady was the supervisor LOL do yourself a favour call ypur doctor he will give you the same meds. Speak to a substance abuse counselor and they will follow up every day. They're motto is keep drinking water. Thanks

There serve is good here but there Cactaria needs room for improvement. Each meal you have ahalf hour to eat regardless if you have another appointment, or not feeling well, or for what ever other reason you don't quit make right on time. Many times you don't even have time to finish your meal. It just goes in the garage. Vancouver detox gives you one hour plus for your meals. And then café and tea at any hour of the day. You have tea, decaf coffee till nine after our aa hereToday i was told i could only have one tea so had dump the other down the drain. That's it.Fruits and decalf coffee decalf tea here and then it's a total lock down. Just thought our half hour meals is way to short. Dinners at 5:30 you have till 6:00 have eaten and try to get a cup of tea or coffee if your lucky. AA starts at 7:30 and you get one tea decaf or decaf coffee. Then totally lock down for the night. The gates are closed so there's no real reason why we can't go in there and play cards and have a warm beverage. Vancouver detox we could up play cards for as long as we can stay up and a fun time getting to know each other. And have all that and sandwiches or any other leftover for those that weren't able to make dinner. Here no Chance. Wait till the morning.

Like the other reviews say: they laugh at your pain.DR. Hayre specifically laughed at my hardship. He told me that he didn't choose to have his job and someone chose his role for him. He doesn't seem to know much about the drugs in my opinion. It appears he works here as a side gig...so not suprised he is too busy laughing to actually help me.The best hope for patients in the BC healthcare system is to find a doctor that cares. The proffession seems to attract people just for money (instead of attracting people with the will to help people suffering.)If you need benzo withdrawal treatment I'd reccomend traveling to new west or vancouver and getting withdrawal services there instead. It's a lot of extra travel and it's unfortunate we can't get proper care where we live. Even though the infrastructure is there and the doctors are getting paid...we are just lacking the caring people in the positions....so sad for the patients.

Staff are absolutely phenomenal. Caring and helpful they definitely go the extra mile. Food quality is satisfactory at best. Facility is clean and we'll organized. Programs throughout the day are limited and at some points non existent which is unfortunate because it leads to constant boredom and being stuck in one's head. I seen many young men and women leave for simply that reason. Bored. And after a 2 or 3 days they are feeling relatively better they feel, against medical advice, to discharge themselves. I, was fortunate enough to squeak through the boredom but it was a battle. More 12 step meetings or alternatives for when those scheduled are unable to attend and more workshops daily may keep clients interested in the life long journey of recovery.

When you go in you get like self checked kinda and than you end up meeting a staff member counsellor they are people who take all your belongings before going in.I had my head phones my money my three provocative designer shirts were all stolen I hope the person no longer works there ….. not impressed

This place is a joke, lucky they don't have a lawsuit on there hands for negligence. Do not go here if you actually want help, they just sit in there office and laugh and mock you and there food taste like it's from a trashcan. They put benzos and morphine into your system. Seriously lucky i didn't sue them honestly should have. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!
