I was referred to Trans-O-Matic by two auto repair shops in my area when I thought I was having transmission problems. (Do yourself a favour and deal directly with Freeman, essentially cutting out the middleman). He was by far the most reasonably priced and offered the fastest turnaround time. Freeman quickly determined that the noise was in fact not the transmission and coordinated with a local repair shop to diagnose and fix the problem for me. Freeman would not take any money for his time or effort. I am eternally grateful for his kindness, honesty and fairness. I would highly recommend!!!

Customer-focused, straight shooter. What I thought was an oilpan leak turned out to be a seal on the manual tranny. My regular mechanic told me this guy had the tools to do a faster and better job than he could. When I got there, the owner spent time on the phone sourcing the best deal on the part, which turned out to be the dealer part. Dealer part cheaper than aftermarket! Would very strongly recommend.

Developed transmission shifting issues while driving through Toronto on a Friday afternoon. Referred here by Superior Transmission for problem diagnostics. Freeman quickly diagnosed problem as electrical / computer. Cleared code, did test drive found problem resolved. He advised we should be OK for a few months at least. Completed our trip (3 more hours) today without issue and confidence our vehicle wouldn't breakdown en route.Highly Recommend Trans O Matic !

Outstanding service and work. My reverse gear went out on my transmission while plowing and Freeman had me back on the road within a half a day, going way beyond my expectation. He even went to the trouble of picking up my parts far out of his way so I could have my truck back faster to continue plowing. He really went the extra mile. Very professional and thorough. Very impressed and highly recommended!

Mr.Freeman is a very, very!!! honest, humble, friendly and super professional person!!!He explained all the small details of the repair process!!! He fixed my transmission in less than 1 day!!!! Now days you rarely find such a great mechanic!!!! More than that and the must important is that he charged me 1/2 of the price that the Chrysler Dealership wanted for the same job!!!!
