Pho Wisdom
Was lucky that a nearby Thai place had a long wait..and we were craving spicy Asian food. The kids were starving after our trip from Vancouver, so we were relieved when food showed up fast and fresh here, served with a smile from the friendly server,Jonathan. Highly recommend the ginger beef.

The Pho was excellent. The bowls were larger than the portions so once we added sprouts, it wasn't overflowing, which was great. The atmosphere was quiet and spacious, clean and not posh. The staff was attentive, asking about food allergies and ensuring we were comfortable and well-provided.

I gave them a try before my acupuncture appointment around the corner and ordered my beef Pad Thai quickly, paying in advance. The server who was very polite and attentive took my order and my meal was ready in 10 minutes. The food was simple but packed full of flavor and simply delicious. I'd say they passed my speed test with flying colors; I'm sure the plating would be better if I wasn't in a hurry.I was happy with this little family operated place. I have known of this restaurant before it opened (added their entry on Google maps; I used to be a patron of the former Artisan Cafe in the same spot) but was unable to come here in with my then boyfriend (who literally lives across the street; again his loss). Definitely be coming to this place more often going forward to try their other menu items.

Very disappointing food.I came here with my fellow pho-lover friend. We ordered prawn vermicelli dish, wisdom special pho and Iced Thai coffee and tea.We tried lots of Pho in the island, but this is by far the worst one we ever had.The pho soup is very sweet and salty. And somehow it wasn’t hot enough, just lukewarm. The pho noodle itself was very salty too.The Thai coffee and tea were too sweet too. The prawns were decent but vermicelli had strange texture. And again, the sauce was way too salty and sweet even though we only poured around 1/3 of the give amount in.We don’t like wasting food but unfortunately we couldn’t finish any of the dishes.The server was nice but seemed to be busy with other stuff. We came at 11 as first customers but we didn’t get water until we asked for it.Maybe some customers will like the salty taste of dishes, but I believe at the very least foods should’ve been served hot.

The restaurant is clean, comfortable and has great ventilation. Lovely decor good atmosphere.I had Pho which was pretty good but the ratio of broth to noodles wasn't quite right. For the price they could definitely afford to be a bit less skimpy on rice noodles.

Spectacular service.Menu offers many vegan options and I had no difficulty also finding items that are also gf.The location is easy to find and was clean and inviting when we visited.My vegan friendly soup was hot and flavourful. The kitchen was able to accommodate my request for specific vegetables (due to allergies) and it was very good.My partner opted for a vegan friendly curry and it was stunning when it arrived.Pay parking was available on the street outside of the restaurant and we will return to try other items.We visited on a weekend in the early afternoon and enjoyed our visit.

Average experience, seems a bit overpriced for content and quality, but not familiar with pricing in this neighborhood. Nice service though.

Excellent pho. Tad on the salty side for my liking but otherwise portion/food to broth ratio and flavor was great.We also got the spring rolls and they were the biggest ones I’ve ever seen (also delicious, would recommend).
